I feel Biffle would be the guy Roush offs to make room for Bayne.
I honestly don't see all that much upside in him anymore.

The guy that was leading in the points for a good amount of time in the regular season earlier this year? Sponsor 3M and Biffle both signed an extension with Roush at the same time a year or two ago, so I doubt he's going anywhere any time soon.

Also, Roush wouldn't need to get rid of anyone if their sales team could land a few new sponsors for anyone other than Carl Edwards. Roush is only running three Cup cars, and could expand to four easily with sponsor help.

Biffle is a key part of Roush, he works well with Kenseth. Kenseth would not have won the Daytona 500 or Talladega without Biffle's help.

As for Bayne, if he would have anywhere it would be the 6. But that dissapeared when Stenhouse came in.

Forgot that Matt moved to the #20 and Ricky to the #17... driver merry go round got me :dopey:

@Drop, Roush had 5 cars at one point? 6,16,17,26,99 , until NASCAR restricted team sizes.

Yeah, when the teams had to go down to four cars, Jamie McMurray lost out because the 26 team got dropped to make it under the new limit.

And Hendrick had the 5,24,25,48, and who else was there? Sure they had 5 cars at one point?

No, Hendrick has never had a 5th car full-time (They've had the 44 run part time with Terry Labonte and the 25 return to run part time with Brad though)

Probably what I was thinking then.

Also, if anybody was wondering, the 4 car team limit was made as a direct response to Roush winning 18 races in 2005. But they didn't enforce it on Roush itself until the end of 2009 for whatever reason.

To not run off existing sponsors under contract would be my best guess.

Apparently, Roush just needed to split off a "2nd team" like Hendrick has with SHR, and now EGR. That's 9 total Hendrick cars on track each weekend, not counting the cars that get Hendrick engines, like Phoenix racing.

Roush ironically does have "2nd teams" now much like Hendrick (FRM, RPM, and kinda Penske).

This video is badass! I swear the toyotas look like Lamborghini now.

Nevermind the fact that this exact same video was posted on the last page

2013 testing at Charlotte today.

I don't think Roush shares as much information with RPM as HMS does with SHR. I think Roush builds the cars and engines, and just delivers them, kind of like RCR was doing with engines for some other teams in the past.

Earnhardt likes the new car better, but with larger rear spoiler is skeptical about passing being easier. http://www.dalejr.com/news/dalejr/2012/12/11/junior-offers-opinion-on-2013-chevy-ss

And this portion right here confirms what I have long believed since 2008:

I thought the COT was just frustrating for me. I had good runs and good races in it. I had races where the car drove well and was comfortable, but I never really connected with that car from the very beginning. Just personally I didn’t like the car. I didn’t really appreciate it for what it was

RPM's shop is not just a stone's throw away from Roush, but it's even on Roush property. I doubt they don't at least share as much, if not more, information with RPM than Hendrick does with SHR.
I can confirm this having been at Charlotte on vacation this year (Yeah, went and did the HOF and tooled around the shops/trophy rooms for a couple days). Highlight of the week was meeting Austin Dillion at the RCR Nationwide shop.

If way better means terrible then you are right. Otherwise you have no argument.

There's no point in even justifying why it looks good. There is no consistency to the scheme nor does it flow well. Seems like multiple elements were slapped on and that constitutes a paint scheme.

Guys, knock off the dog-piling onto other members:
Play the ball, not the man = Argue the point, not the person in the discussion.

99% sure the Deuce would look better with black wheels instead of white ones. Or gold. Just not white. Brake dust, where they actually use said brakes (So basically, Bristol, Martinsville and the road courses) will turn them dookie brown, anyway.

Hey I was just wondering, do NASCAR fans in general still dislike Toyota's presence in the series? I met a couple of people that watch NASCAR in Tampa (you'll find quite a few here) and some of them thought Toyota is the devil?

Yeah, a few still do. But they seem to be the same people who like "Jounya!", think Gibbs is a traitor for leaving Chevy, and decided not to go to Kansas because Jr. was out with a concussion.

Meanwhile the "American as apple pie" Chevrolet Impala is made in Canada, and the Camry is manufactured in Kentucky. Why doesn't GM taut the the Malibu as its NASCAR nameplate, since it's manufactured in America? Sales, that's what...keep people as ignorant drones whenever possible.

I can understand when fans get annoyed when a team switches brands; that's like a college coach switching to a rival college football team; that's a totally different thing. When Junior Johnson unveiled a Ford for 1990, instead of his usual Chevy, fans threw beer cans and booed! Others cheered.
