My little sister became emotionally invested in this race once I told her that one of the cars was sponsored by Pillow Pets (Bayne)

Oh god another ICEYOU in this thread! :scared: Anyway, it looks like Kyle "I can't win in my own series" Busch still has this wrapped up barring catastrophic failure. :yuck:👎

Lol I'm just messing with the kid. I'm actually a rational NASCAR fan. :)

And can we please go back to LOR/IRP/ORP?

They could spend less time introducing the fans to the drivers then they did during driver introductions.

I don't know. I showed up late and have been switching between it and Wipeout, and the PC, and aside from the restart pile-up, I haven't caught a grandstand shot.

I DO see that there are NNS Impalas running today.

Yeah, that was a snoozefest. I switched to a re-run of F1 qualifying about 20 laps in...

Expecting more of the same tomorrow, really.

Well, the last six laps were interesting, At least Brian Scott made him work for this one.

Hate that Hornish DNF'd though.

I was hoping some how Joey would wreck Kyle (I'm not a hater just wanted to see Scott get the win after running well).

Nationwide really needs to stick to smaller track, there is NO reason why they should be on the big track from even a money standpoint. I've seen more fans randomly at lesser tracks for an event.

Almost like you have to ban Kyle Busch from competing in Trucks or Nationwide to prevent him from winning these races. I ask again- is Rowdy too good for Trucks and Nationwide, or not good enough in Cup? It usually seems like the same old song and dance for Kyle Busch to win most of the races in the Trucks and Nationwide ranks. I take nothing away from Rowdy, but this is just sad. Is it that he's too good, or the Nationwide drivers aren't good enough to take him down? Brian Scott DID make the #54 work for it late. Only thing I'd hate to see happen is NASCAR put up some kind of "bounty" on Kyle Busch like when the Rolex Sportscar Series put up that bounty to anyone who beat Ganassi Racing in a race.

Oh, well. Nationwide goes to Iowa next Saturday night. Tomorrow is the Brickyard 400 for Cup.

Who says their isn't a bounty already *puts on shades* :sly:

My dad just woke me up, told me to get my *** ready. I asked him why and he told me that he got tickets (probably cheap ones) to the race. :D We are like 30-45 minutes from the track as it is.

May the best (and maybe luckiest) driver win today's Brickyard 400. Good luck to all drivers and teams.

A Raceday fan poll is asking which owner is more successful at Indianapolis Motor Speedway; Penske or Ganassi.

I don't even... it shouldn't even be an afterthought.

Overall, it's definitely Penske, but mostly due to longevity. Ganassi has probably been slightly more successful recently.

Is the question referring to just NASCAR or both Indy Car and NASCAR?

It was a general question, and they showed full Indy (NASCAR & IRL) stats for each owner.

I didn't catch the final result of it, but watching the percentage bar jump around like it did made it seem rather rigged.

Wait if it is the Brickyard today I might stream it...can someone message me the link again, please.

EDIT: I forgot it was the 400 because I haven't been watching races due to not having TNT and streaming isn't the same as watching it on my TV. But this is the Brickyard so it's a different story.
