I would hate to be in this thread if it was Kyle and Jimmie Johnson battling for a win

I probably would turn the TV off.

I wondering why you don't already when either of them are about win a cup or nationwide series race (or even bother watching a nationwide race that Kyle is in).

well, them's the breaks. I knew I shouldn't have watched the race.

Funny, I only had just woken up and turned the TV on at the exact moment the second last restart was happening. Great timing.

Really really like the composure Truex had.

It's time for another road course, the fans like it, drivers like it. I say Austin in the fall!!!

REDBUD on SPEED, NOW!!!

Less than 5 minutes away from my house. Engines sounded awesome!!!

It's called optimism sir...too much of it. If I had that attitude really then I would be throwing stuff around the house every time Dale has a day like today.

In the end I knew Kyle was probably going to get it, he doesn't make a mistake too often. I was paying more attention to ALMS after Jr. was wrecked.

My son is at work, I told him to put on SPEED to watch REDBUD. This is the text reply: Well we got Comcast here and fox sports replaced it and west coast customs is on.

We are SOOO screwed.

...how so? We've known for a while speed was going bye-bye and they said it was going to be Fox sports starting July.

I think he just means that they already are changing things that are airing one place for something else less motorsports related. Granted I don't really know how we are losing Wind Tunnel or someone doesn't have a far better motorsports based channel. There is plenty to air or keep up to date or even air some older races.

I'm thinking what he's saying is that the network switch has already happened on another provider (at least with Comcast anyway). Not too surprised since we are pretty much a few days away from it. I'm also not surprised to hear that "West Coast customs" is being shown on "America's New Sports Network", the same network that now will show USCR

It's supposed to start this coming Saturday.

We've already had stuff switch here, as you can see I'm on the west so maybe it is different. But I recall them telling us July. Also West coast customs was on speed, and really speed hasn't had much of anything good as far as regular programing so it "meh" to me.

Ah I see, thanks. Same at Racecar thanks.

In 3 hours from now, is your guide showing TORC off road racing? I'm on Eastern time.

Did you have Victory Lane?

I don't have it my mother does, she's a nascar fan too and watches all that stuff she was just telling me all about it. We live in the same state but have two different providers.

My provider is showing all that stuff now...so as far as my provider goes it is the same. Her's is not.

EDIT:
Same as yours that is, but I'm not surprised either way that place already have Fox Sports. Just hope that NBC picks up all the rest.

Too bad I was never really into off road stuff.

I meant the last episode of Speed Center. Of course unless there's an ARCA race this week, that TORC series race was the final race shown on Speed.

It's one of those things if you actually saw them up close or in person live, it's a different amazing what kind of car control or what can they can do with a truck. Granted I am a fan of most racing outside of drag racing which I find a complete waste of time.

I find that kind of odd to be honest, but hey it is what it is. I haven't watched Speed in years anyway but sad to see some of the things go (mainly Wind Tunnel).

No I figured you meant as far as televised on Speed, which is why I'm not heart broken. I mean ever since F1 moved from Speed and the decision to shut it down and all...I can't say I'm too sad. Though I am trying to figure out where I will watch my motorcycle racing.

 Funny you should say that the guy (my dad) who taught me how to work and build engines is a big drag racing guy. I got into it and it's one of those thing that is way more fun to do then watch, especially if you get to ride in the street cars. He likes other forms too but yeah. Also I have tons of friends that do SCORE stuff, so I respect off road racing, I just never really liked watching stadium stuff too much same with dirt bikes and what not. Which is another thing my dad did (dirt bike AMA in this state). Though I would love to build me a pre-runner or trophy truck if I was a rich dude.

I wonder if I email Dave on Wind Tunnel with how sad I am to see them go, if I could get one of his model cars from the set out of it...

I have Comcast myself here, and I'm watching Speed Center right now.

I can't believe they can't even to a 1 hour edition of Wind Tunnel. I'm generally a Fox supporter, this FS crap gutting Motorsport is making it difficult though. I was fortunate enough to have my voicemail played on FIRED UP a few times. Usually ranting about Jr :p

This is sad.

I say that we bombard Fox with complaints about having our Motorsports gutted for more ball and stick sports. I personally think that we should have a separate channel dedicated to Motorsport.

This made me  literally, ah the ball and stick comment never gets old.

I posted this a little while ago on SPEED & Wind Tunnel Facebook pages: "SPEED is airing their "last" shows. Speed Center, Wind Tunnel, TORC had RedBud for its last race. Fox Sports 1, you're gutting Motorsport, YOU SUCK!!!

As much as I loath all things NBC, NBC Sports Network will probably pick up these awesome SPEED personalities.

We will miss you SPEED."

Sassy Brad said "What matters to me is being defined as a great racer and wreckin' ain't racin'" on Victory Lane regarding his decision to not dump Kyle. I gotta give Brad a lot of credit for that. He was running his mouth like a little snotty punk early in the season. The Captain must have put him through a PR program like The Coach did.

Time for Breaking Bad & Dexter!!!
