So does everyone think that we'll be on GT5?

Interesting that they set a release date for GT6 today.

Does anyone find it odd that there is no information being released about the national final and it's being held at such a iconic and expensive location?
 
I think we'll be on a GT6 multiplayer demo.
They were too coy about not being able to disclose that information when I asked.
 
Yeah I'm a little nervous to find out what game we'll be running. I think we'll be in for a surprise.

I'm personally hoping for gt6 but with the same physics that were at e3 or better. I'm kinda thinking they'll go that route because if they were using gt5 I think the competition would be more public. This way if the game crashes it's in private. Could be totally wrong but that's my thoughts.

That's why I've been practicing both GT5 and GT6. Feels like my pace is slower with 6 but I pick up time faster.

Here are my thoughts.

We will do time trails on day 1. Possibly on GT6.

Day 2 we will be racing on gt5.
 
The rules say it's all racing and special challenges.
 
Special challenges could qualify as time trials.

There will also be driving real cars. I heard this from the producer at last years racerx event. Wonder if it is true.

Yeah cones will be set up in time square i'm sure ;). About time they brought back the old NYcourse, this time it's for real!! 50 points for leaving the shoes....

I'd love it if there was real car stuff but I kinda doubt it. I'm curious what the challenges will be. Should be interesting.
 
Terrible question to be asking so late, but are our plane tickets at some sort of will call or something? Never got anything physical to print or anything.

There is a confirmation that you should have received. You just type that code in at a kiosk and your tickets will print. Or just go to the baggage check to check in.

You can also go online check in and print out your boarding pass.

I arrive at LGA at 5:15... Is everyone landing there trying to get together and head toward the hotel at the same time sharing cabs? Or just kinda going separate since we all are getting reimbursed anyway?.. I'm also down for sightseeing on Sunday, I thought I saw someone mention that. First trip to NYC, what an awesome way to do it huh!?

Looks like there's 6 of us into LGA at that time. I'll pm everyone and see who wants to share a ride then I'll get us a shared ride.

Unfortunately, no, I'm not involved with the U.S. finals this year, and don't know anything about what's planned.
