Its Sheffield United 1-1 Spurs in the other league cup semi second leg and Spurs 1-2 up on agg with around ten minutes left, terrible weather there, they are playing in a blizzard...

Its 2-1!!! 2-2 on aggregate!!!!!!

Sheff United 2-2 Spurs full time, Spurs go through 2-3 on aggregate so it'll be Chelsea v Tottenham in this years Capital One Cup Final

@C-ZETA, What's going one there?!?

Arda Turan throwing his boot towards the linesman at the Atleti-Barca game. He got a yellow for it.

Christ he should have got a red!!!

Here are the Premier League games this weekend, I usually post these on Friday but I'm at work most of tomorrow...

Saturday
Chelsea v Man City (5.30 Sky)
Crystal Palace v Everton
Hull v Newcastle (12.45 BT)
Liverpool v West Ham
Man United v Leicester
Stoke v QPR
Sunderland v Burnley
West Brom v Tottenham

Sunday
Arsenal v Aston Villa (1.30 Sky)
Southampton v Swansea (4.00 Sky)

Potential title decider on Saturday and possibly the biggest game of the season so far, Sundays games look good too though, no Monday Night Football because its deadline day at 11pm on Monday...

Such a big game tomorrow evening, I think Man City will do well to get a point....

No Fabregas, no Costa, no Toure... I'm not sure it'll be that great. :indiff:

The fact that Jose would prefer to leave there tied than down 3 points will mean that he will setup the game to be a total snooze fest.

Why does Blatter insist on running for the FIFA presidency again? He's in Australia for the AFC Asian Cup, and when he ascended the rostrum for the winner's presentation, he managed to temporarily unseat the Prime Minister as the most unpopular man in the country, judging by the booing. And we're a small footballing nation; I can only imagine how unpopular he is in Europe.

There's no way that anyone that unpopular can reasonably claim that they're acting in the best interests of the sport. You don't get to be that unpopular without having a track record of consistently poor judgement.

Really good weekend so far, both Real and United won, comfortably.

Hoping for a draw in the Chelsea - City game.

Chelsea and City finished 1-1 which was the score in the same fixture at the Etihad in September, good win for United yesterday, tougher tests to come though...

Celtic game today was pretty hilarious. I knew Rangers had fallen but to register 0 shots on target in a one-off cup game is just ridiculous. Looking like going back under would help that team rather than hinder it.

You must be happy with the weekend's results. United winning and Swansea beating Southampton, United's main rivals.

Great win for Arsenal but Villa are terrible. Must win next week though, hopefully Alexis is fit.

Over the moon with the Swansea win, wasn't expecting anything from the game since we were missing our top scorer and top assist maker and Southampton were all over us for much of the game but we were better in the second half and Shelvey's strike was sublime, we badly needed that win, our first since Boxing Day!

Seen Bale, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain in Southampton today.

The only thing worse than Rangers was the state of the pitch.

Rangers aren't even in the mix for promotion this year, are they? Very grim times for a club still with Scotland's second biggest wage bill.

Transfer Deadline day, not a lot happening, but here's the latest

Wolfsburg have signed Andre Schurrle from Chelsea, fee not yet know

Still waiting official confirmation on Chelsea signing Juan Caduardo from Fiorentina

Leicester sign Robert Huth on loan from Stoke for the rest of the season

Inter Milan sign Davide Santon on loan from Newcastle

Southampton hoping to sign Filip Djurcic from Benfica on loan

Crystal Palace have signed Wilfried Zaha from Man United permanently

....and err, that's about it for now, windows shuts at 11pm tonight..

The only thing that was high intensity about the game yeserday was the fans' back-and-forwards during the game. Rangers fans were really loud but I think it says a lot when they really were cheering more to prove who they were rather than by what the players were doing on the pitch. It truly was 2-0 going on 7-0, Deila admitted he told Celtic to just close the game out in the second half and keep the team from breaking a sweat on the verge on the Inter tie. That's even more sad when you consider that tie is 17 days away.

Is he an awesome striker with excellent form? If so, he can kiss it goodbye.

On that front, we've also signed Romanian future-international Sergiu Bus. He's an awesome striker with excellent form (a goal every three games), so he can kiss that goodbye.

Worst attack in the Championship.

Worst attack in the Championship.

You sound like Wrexham; lean defence but even leaner attack. At least you're in the top 10 of your division.

Vermijl? he is a right back who can play at left back, not a striker sorry, but you have signed a striker from CSKA Sofia, forgotten his name though...

Chelsea sign Cuadrado from Fiorentina for a fee thought to be around £26 million, done deal and easily the biggest deal of Deadline Day...

Forgot about Southampton not getting Vilhena.

Cuardardo signed for Chelsea. Sorry for double post.

It's surprising we got him - I'd heard Chelsea were after him...

Tim Cahill to announce his future in 5 minutes. I'll announce mine now. Going to bed after the announcement.

Bugger all happened in the end, but 18 y/o Dele Alli signed for Spurs and is apparently hailed as the next Steven Gerrard...but then Jordan Henderson was as well so I won't get my hopes up.

Adebayor was set to go to West Ham, but Daniel Levy stepped in and stopped the move apparently.
