Well, Colombia went down fighting proper, great team overall.


Now I really want Germany to serve Brazil's 🤬 in a silverplate, even if the second goal was fantastic the rest of the game was a shame. Neimar was a joke and 30 fouls doesn't make justice.

What a game! Colombia was really pushing it the last 10 minutes.
 
Great 1st half, but not such a good 2nd. For once a ref was far too lenient, and this led to too many fouls, some of them were shocking.

Well done Brazil... they played some awesome football in the 1st half 👍

Brazil would be the weakest team left if they did make it through. Unless Belgium beat Argentina maybe, but that's irrelevant because the Netherlands beats them both.

As Luiz was covering and as the ball went out of reach of the attacker then it wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity so it was only a yellow.
 
All I got to say is that this ref sucked, bad, really badly!! I mean Julio Cesar could have seen a red and so could have Zuniga, Fernadinho, the list is endless...

Great game, this was, I loved each minute of it (except the ref) and Colombia fought to the end. Great goal from David, shame he isn't that great as a player...

Oh, @MoLiEG, have you seen the games? Argentina cannot stop Brazil because Messi is sailing past through the side of the tournament.
 
There was a grasshopper on Rodriguez's right arm during the entire penalty incident!....

Brazil won yeah, that doesn't automatically discard the referee which heavy handedly favoured Brazil.


It's a shame really, I can account at least 6 to 7 matches in which the judges have been a joke, they won but not proper, not like Germany against France. 31 fouls without counting the ones the referee didn't bother to count is not good football, prime example of this was Neymar, I can't say Colombia was completely clean, because they weren't, however is a basic norm of sportsmanship to have a proper way of play, something that Brazil barely showed.

It was a dirty game for sure, not nice to see.

But the referee was just as bad for the both sides. It will be ugly against Germany, Silva wont be there, and Neymar is on the hospital.

Now it's 17 hours before Argentina's match... I just hope Messi gives us the win like he has done for the past games, because otherwise it's a (close) ride home for us.

From a neutral's point of view, I'll be rooting for Argentina and Holland tomorrow because Argentina v Holland would make for a cracking semi final!

Damn... and I thought he was faking it. Oh well, that's a real shame for Brazil and esp. for Neymar.

Still, I hope that, if Argentina doesn't win the World Cup, Brazil wins it. Nothing would be sweeter than seeing all the country pissed off about it.
 
Hopefully, Neymar can make a speedy recovery.
