AAHAHAHHHAHAHAHA

after all the celebrations for getting points. Bianchi sounds like he's about to cry. Chilton spun right into him.

Chilton out of shape and takes out Bianchi

Yeah...that's gonna be something hard to explain in the pits.

"I just lost control...and then took out my teammate. You know, my duty as a pay driver..."

Alonso loses a place to Vergne

Hamilton was very briefly first but ends up third for now!

On the start: Smooth move for Vettel, not so smooth for Chilton.

Tough luck for Lewis on that second corner. He was coming around the outside of Nico coming out of the previous one... so fair play for Nico to edge him out (as he did to Nico not so many races ago)... should have backed off... then he wouldn't have lost that place to Vettel.

Yup, all fair, that's how they race :D Hamilton probably isn't thinking that right now though...

Actually that's genius by Sauber. He was already last, not going anywhere for a few laps. Now he's in the same place, on the better tyres for the race and the worse of the two checked off.

Nicely done Sauber. Seems that went over the BBC commentators heads.

Gutierrez has pitted and intends to complete the race without anymore stops.

Just realised how hard a crash that was for Bianchi. Nasty whip around. Sure he's fine though. He sounded a little shocked on the team radio.

Hmmn, that was borderline between the two Mercedes, Hamilton was very very nearly far enough alongside that Nico should have given him room.

I have a feeling that they will come together this race.

I thought they were gonna do a Marussia at the first corner. Maybe the team will shout at them now to ensure it doesn't happen today but I'm sure it's bound to happen this season.

I disagree. He didn't have enough of his car alongside Nico's to even question what happened. Perfectly fair racing.

And now, back to the race. :)

Not to mention the Marussias car are fragile compare to others. :boggled:

From FBFB: Caterham have asked Marcus Ericsson to retire his car.

Looks like that was easy for Perez on Button!

As with Bahrain, Nico is coming off the apex of the previous turn, and technically, he can't give space if he's at racing pace, as the next apex is on the racing line on his way out of the previous turn... so Lewis can't force him to give way, just as Nico couldn't force Lewis to give way going around the outside in Bahrain.

Hamilton predictably takes Vettel..

Hamilton predictably takes Vettel..

No doubt about that one.

Also no doubt the RBR is faster than the Williams in terms of race pace. Ricciardo now going to try an undercut by pitting. He may be faster, but he doesn't have the power to overtake on track.

FBFB
Ericsson's problem that caused his retirement was apparently related to his Renault power unit.
Somthing for the other Renault powered cars to be concerned about?

Unless we see some fratricide or some epic driving by Bottas or Gutierrez/Perez, I think we'll have a pretty boring GP of Mercedes über alles.

If a F1 race on Montreal isn't entertaining, the FIA has to be doing something wrong.
