I have to bow out of tomorrow's race. We are absolutely swamped at work and I am having to work an overtime shift. I guess releasing a new operating system for free means no Gran Turismo for me.

Looks like we've got a driver to step up for Team Georgia. Hope he does well!

Since the Lexus only seems to manage 1:14s (even jonny couldn't get it to go faster)
I'm going to see if I can battle for second to last. ;)
 
My best I think is a 1:13.4, still a second behind the extremely good handling Lotus, watched it and saw that it gets on the power very early compared to the others, hence where the lost time is.
 
After someone used racing softs I couldn't see how fast they were going, are they really down to 12.4? That's crazy :p
 
Jonny did a 1:12.1 if I recall correctly, so I'm 1.3 off and I'm trying my absolute best.

Not sure what Matt doing in terms of pace, but he should be in low 13s for sure, probably better than that, luckily for me, Jonny isn't racing in my room so I don't have to worry about him.
 
You sure that wasn't Plux's time when he was on softs? because that was a 12.1 if i recall correctly.

on that note, since we have less than 16 people racing this evening, would people want to run in the same lobby?? or keep it as 2 lobbies?
 
Would be interesting, I'm happy with either since the numbers are equal in both lobbies(for now)and my connection is now bullet proof, combining the lobbies would bring the total up to 14 I think.
 
Yes Ninners you are completely off. The fastest time I saw you do was a 1.13.3XX, the fastest I ever went in the Lotus was a 1.13.060. In the Mazda on Mediums I managed a 1.12.85X and then Plux ruined everything by going on Softs and setting the 1.12.1XX.

Certainly at the start of the stint, the Lambos combination of power and cornering ability give it a real edge in cutting through traffic, as you noted if we have to lift off slightly in the Lotus to avoid running into the back of the car in front, we have no response down the next straight.

As far as standings go, I'd suggest scoring each member of the lobby one or two list separately, so overall if the results went:
1.memto
2.jonny
3.nin
4.plux
5.i-was-ere
etc.

points would be
memto - 1st lobby 1 - 10
jonny - 1st lobby 2 - 10
nin - 2nd lobby 1 - 8
plux - 3rd lobby 1 - 6
i-was-ere - 2nd lobby 2 - 8

Seems like the simplest and most consistent with the previous rounds.
 
Ah ok, thought that time would have most likely have come from you, my bad, I would prefer to race with everybody in 1 lobby for more action, but that's not my decision to make.
 
That sounds all right then. Wouldn't want to end up 13 and 14 and get no points for the team. :p
 
I would love a single lobby on that track! As I said in the room last night, it also means no repeat of my replay issues.
 
Lap time of 1:13.1 now, stiffened the car up and it made it more responsive to drive, normally softening it works well for me at slow tracks, but I tried it out and it worked.

8:34.459 round Nurburgring 24, just for some fun.

Is the final round at Nurburgring at the full track or the GP track because when we were talking about the 4WD cars 'weather' was brought up, so I'm not sure because the OP says it the GP track.

The final round will be the full 24h circuit, with weather and time change.

I can also confirm that we will still be running two lobbies tonight. I know many of you wanted to run one, however since this was against the original formula we cannot force those who are unwilling, so to confirm:

Shouldn't you also add LongHairedLout as the late reserve and only driver for Team Georgia this weekend in Room 1?
 
haha, so far the quickest pace has been the very low 1.13s, but mid to high 1.13s/low 1.14s is a pretty good race pace.
