Information
"This event is a time trial on the Apricot Hill Raceway in the 370Z, an FR sportscar from Nissan.
In this round, the challenge will be to tame this front-engined, rear-wheel drive beast. The smallest acceleration mistake can cause loss of control when cornering, but in order to get the best time possible, you'll need to take it right to the point where it's about to skid out sideways, and push the clipping point of every corner to the absolute limit."

Hi guys, I've seen a bunch of people complaining about the lack of country filtering on the official leaderboard lately so I decided to spend my lunch time creating an alternative leaderboard. It's quite rudimentary, yet it works as it's supposed to work. It's hosted on a free Heroku dyno, so it may be slow the first time is accessed after an hour of inactivity.

I've just set the K' Advance Leaderboards, with same features and limit as the first round, but i've unlock the Filter by country: click on a country on any record to hide results from other countries.

I can't get to the PS3 yet to have a look but I suspect the Gold time you have listed @hognhominy is incorrect as the top of the leaderboard (although at an early stage) would be 5 seconds away from Gold right now :eek:
 
Took a few laps to actually get a gold time on this one. Tough approach as this uses Comfort Softs, where I think the car comes from the dealership with Sport Hard? Only at it for 10 minutes, give it more tomorrow when I'm not so tired. This only got me to 210th place at the time, haha. Also confirming gold time is 1:38.000

This looks like good fun, and A LOT more fun than driving a 🤬 Leaf. Anyways, I can`t wait to try it out!
 
I'm currently sitting on a 1:38.001..... I can see a few places where I can improve, but it's hooking it all up, and not hitting those bloody cones down at the chicane on the way in or out lol
 
Fifth in the world so far. Yet to put together a good lap though. Took me a bit to get up to speed in the last sector, I've hardly ever driven this track!
 
1:37.929 There is way more in it. Love the way the 370Z handles. Think I'm done.
Well, one more time :D. Did a 1:37.326 2.4seconds of the top. This is a good challenge.

I was only able to put in 20 minutes this morning as I had to go to work (again, on a bank holiday), I was aiming to get into the 1:35s but only managed a 1:36.195.

Anyway, I'm home now so I can give this a proper go...

Nice combo. Took me 8 laps to gold.
I haven't really driven Apricot Hill that much, at least not since GT3. I can see that I lose alot of time in the first sector - probably a whole second. The long radius turn 6 is difficult to get exactly right for me too. Flat out in 3rd gear, or ride the inside curb in 4th?
 
Hardly anytime to play exams :(
Although I have a decent 1:36:XXX I doubt if I will get much time until the end of the month
