Hamilton 1:37.1 fastest lap of race, gap back to 5.0

EDIT: Now 4.0

Pink's not really the average tribute colour, so forgive my ignorance ;)

Well if you keep up with F1 and racing news in general it's been a talking point this weekend. His father was noted for wearing a Pink shirt on race day and thus that is why the helmet is the same color.

And Pink at least on this side of the ocean is an average tribute color when talking about breast cancer.

Gearbox problems for Rosberg gives Lewis the lead!

Looks like he can't get out of 6th gear.

Lewis P1, Bottas into P2 if Rosberg drops? WHOOP!

Nico can't shift properly.
Lewis leading on the home crowd.

The gap would come back down to 4 points and bring it very close again.

Poor Nico. Awwwww...

Transmission got stuck in 5th... then 6th. Nico can't shift at all. Still trying while sitting in the grass. Poor boy.

I wanted to see a good fight! :ouch:

Man those high RPM engines sound like their being lugged at 5K RPM.

On this side of the ocean it has another meaning, but enough of that now, had to catch up on the news (haven't bothered with F1 lately).

Wonder if the Mercedes gremlin will strike on both cars again? :scared:

Well Hamilton gets his luck. This is gonna close up the championship.

Lewis gets a nice Sunday afternoon drive now. He doesn't really have to worry about driving fast, he's so much faster than the others.

And Lewis win. Hell, the Merc team are much faster than the other. He have this win in his bag now. Bottas to 2nd after Vettel pit, I'm not even mad.

It will either have a considerable bearing on the championship if he can get a podium finish, or nothing will really change if he's ends up being as unlucky as Rosberg has been today with reliability issues cropping up.

I want him to make the most of this chance though. To keep the WDC battle tight at the top.
