Interesting qually session so far. I hope the weather kicks in again before they get slick times in.

You've got your wish.
Almost happened, rain came a touch too late.

I wonder who's going to spin this time

EDIT: Surprising finish, well done Nico. 2 pics uploaded, F1QSilverstone.jpg with 3:15 remaining. F1QSilverstoneFinal.jpg at end.

A good chance to turn it around. Just give the whole thing away.

Lewis got his numbers wrong... and Mercedes have Carol Vorderman in their garage as well.

Unbelieveable. That has cost Hamilton the race.

Well... I thought "Hams got this in the bag", 23 seconds later -:odd:🤬

Lewis aborted his lap in the middle sector but the last sector improved vastly meaning all time lost in the first 2 sectors was negated

People who stayed in the garage lost out too.

Roo
Tenner says Hamilton saw his first 2 sectors hadn't improved so he aborted the lap. If that's the case - plonker.

Correct, team told him to therefore let Nico past. Doubt anyone saw that coming, I was just standing up to go to the bathroom when I heard the commentator shout that someone was on pole that it was pretty clear Nico has it in the bag.

I really didn't expect Vettel to fly up like he did after the first 2.

So many plonkers on Twitter having a go at Mercedes for that.

So frustrated with Lewis... The only time Nico has looked faster than Lewis this year was Catalunya, everywhere else Lewis clearly had a race pace advantage. I'm not bothered about Nico winning, just the fact that he's not fast enough to warrant a WDC.

They need to put a photo of Nico Rosberg's face in this press conference in the dictionary, next to the word Smug.

The BBC are showing Nico's lap at the moment - it really was a case of crossing the line less than a second before the session ended. The lights went red between him crossing the timing beam and getting to the end of the grid hatchings.

Disappointed for Ricciardo, not being allowed out at the end of Q3.
