Horrible wheels. Look like a discount tire special.
This basically. As it sits, I believe the Mustang is already the lightest of the bunch, and if the rumours are true the weight drop would be a dramatic improvement. Even more so now with the IRS and potentially more power. There's nothing preventing them from doing both things.
Since when has 3500lbs been "light"?!
This basically. The Challenger would weigh nearly 1,000lbs more than that.Well compared to the two other fatties it competes with it's considered light I suppose...
Since your average V6 CamCord competitor started nearing 3700.Since when has 3500lbs been "light"?!
Still.. E34/E39 M5 weighed about that much and they were sedans..
Dodge apparently didn't learn from Chevrolet when the first Camaro came out; Ford responded immediately with the new Mustang by upping the GT500 as a middle finger to them. Seems they may be doing it again to Dodge.Take it with a grain of salt, but the possibly is entirely there, and definitely reachable.
I entirely agree with you. But if the new suspension is as good as they say it is, maybe the extra power won't be a bad thing after all. It's just a "we're gonna have to wait and see" kinda thing right now.
Yeah, but this car, at least prototypes, have been see with meat as big as 315's. That's a pretty fat tire, but 750hp would be pushing that I guess.
Realistically though, just about anything over 450hp on street tires is going to light them up.
You can light anything up given the right technique and surface.
Dos wheels doe.Spy pics of the Shelby GT350R.
I wouldn't count on it. Eating through the rears regardless if you get on it or not has been an issue since the GT 500 came back on the market several years ago.I entirely agree with you. But if the new suspension is as good as they say it is, maybe the extra power won't be a bad thing after all. It's just a "we're gonna have to wait and see" kinda thing right now.
Look at them splitters. Dem brakes doe.
