Rosberg really needs to pull something out of his sleeve if he's going to have a chance.

Unfortunately the rain completely destroyed Williams this race :(

Perez got lapped. There's a slight chance Alonso can gain another spot.

Anywho... I might sound like I've been given some of McLaren's 'good stuff' that they give to Alonso, but I think we could see at least one McLaren score points this weekend.
Called it. Alonso is in the points.

Merhi-go-round > Will Stevens spearing the armco.

Kimi what are you dooing?

Looks like it's settled for Hamilton. He's extending his lead over Rosberg. He pretty much needs to spin off track to mess this one up.

Looks like it's game over for Nico's challenge... ten second gap. Everyone else too far away to matter.

And Kimi back in for another set of inters. What a bad call that earlier stop was.

Vettel has been the biggest beneficiary of the rain so far.

What a bad call that earlier stop was.

The alternative was slicks... I guess he could have lost even more time on those, just worked out very badly with length of his first run.

EDIT: More light rain in a couple of minutes...

It's gone so wrong so quickly for Williams. This'll definitely be the one that got away.

Bottas not happy with his tires.

The Force is with Mercedes today. You go, George. :D

Manor are 12th and 13th. Not bad for a team that barely made the grid this year.

..of course attrition helped with that.

Have to say well done to Nico, was never going to win after the first round of pitstops, shame this race got settled in the pits.

I see Sky are ready to award Hamilton the World Championship. Their glowing praise got so thick that I actually had to mute it.

Literally the entire race was one huge anticlimax.

Yay. Hamilton wins again.

Fernando Alonso wins!

Tenth place, that is!

Oh, and Vettel in third!

Amazing strategy calls for Vettel, Alonso and Hamilton. Really made the race. Good damage control from Mercedes, 1-2 in the rain... could have been very different if it stayed dry. Maybe Williams could have salvaged it if they let Bottas through, but given the performance they were getting out of the car in the rain, that's not such a sure thing.

Good win from Hamilton, bucks the stats :D

Well, I finally got a prediction right.

Dream start to a nightmare finish for Williams. Vettel and Ferrari pull a rabbit out of the hat and manage a podium from something that never was. And McLaren score points for the first time since Monaco! Manor gets their season best finish, a 12th and a 13th.

Another quality British Drama...

Then they show George Lucas... and it all went to The Gungan

I had to just shake my head when they talked about his failed attempt at passing Massa after the safety car. they talked about it being a hero or zero move and ended up saying it was a heroic effort. Couldn't bring themselves to say Hamilton messed up.

*sigh*

It was looking so good at the beginning... in the end Massa was nearly 36 seconds down, Bottas over a minute :guilty:
