The Ferrari was about to turn in, the P2 was going where it shouldn't have gone.

Need an onboard first, it looked to me like the Ferrari in the middle drove into the P2, while it tried to pass them.

Seeing the P2 way on the inside I would think he would know the situation and back off accordingly under the knowledge that it is the overtaking vehicles responsibility to make the pass cleanly.

I'm not saying the P2 wasn't at fault, I'd just like to see another angle of it, because I'm not entirely sure.

Fair enough. I'm pretty convinced I know what happened however.

EDIT: JOTA Sport P2 spins a GT.
 
Safety Car has been deployed for an incident in turn 18. This is the second time the Safety Car has been utilized today.

Banana-looking P2 just crashed into the barriers heavily. Rear impact, Safety Car may be needed.
 
That was pretty exciting, some risky and questionable driving at the end, but exciting none the less.. Tincknell looks completely unhappy on the podium, rightfully so.
 
Everybody on that podium looked out of place. If they are going to race like NASCAR then they need to have some post race fist fights.

2nd and 3rd place drivers had fake smiles IMO.
 
Great day at Silverstone! If you're heading to the track tomorrow check out Nissan in the end Garage (50??) of the International pits, it's not as empty as you think! Plus they were letting us sit in their cars!:p:D

Technically a replica but you don't the opportunity to sit in an LMP1 car everyday!!!

Wouldn't let me sit in it, still friend has passes with shell and told us we can get into any garage tomorrow

Oh really?! That sucks :( They were letting everyone in when we were there. Including some *ahem* hefty men.

Ooohhh lucky guy! That'll be awesome to be in a garage during pit stops etc. Very jealous!!!
 
The stewards have decided not to punish the Greaves car because it would have let the Jota car win and would not have benefited the Thiriet car. 👎

Bad call stewards. Bad call. A 30 second penalty would have put the Thiriet car up into 2nd place.
