Ideal lap times show the Porsche is .5 sec ahead of the Audi's and 3 sec ahead of the Toyota's. Rebellion is only .5 sec ahead of the CLM.

Aston Martin are whining about the BOP changes but are still fastest GTEPro and Am. 🤬

Glad to see AMR struggling after the past few years of favorable BOP. Never liked their attitude, Porsche has been royally screwed all year but you don't hear them complaining.

Yes you do hence why they were planning on ditching the GTE programme.

With the wig and the width of the car (GTE cars have wider bodywork I think) I'd be more inclined to say GT3.

They do have wider bodies cause there suppose to actually be something that evolves over the season unlike GT3, but in the end they just end up being widebody GT3 cars. Either way this gives us some idea of what we can expect which is the Ferrari 456 GTE (yes I did that on purpose)

It could be the set up of the transmission or the ECU mapping in lower gear. Current F1 cars make that similar sound but due to the mapping of the fuel flow if I remember correctly when the get off throttle the low speed section. They're usually easier to hear in fan videos.



In parts of this trackside video you can hear how all the different engines have that off throttle grinding noise, even though EBD isn't in F1 any longer

USA coverage has really improved in the past 3-4 years. I once sent a complaint email concerning the lack of WEC coverage.

Thats weird. The harpin is completely empty. The grandstands on the western side of the circuit are also abandoned.

WEC in itself is still a fairly unknown series. The only races that really attract the crowd in the series are the 24 hours of Le Mans. It's a shame really!
