Yep. Apart from the Boxter/Caymen and 918, I can't think of anything else.
Yeah I can't imagine them using the Boxster/Caymen being a GTE car...probably just a rumor. That or there is something coming that we don't know about.

You might struggle with that.

Here's something for discussion though.

Should Turner and Mucke be split up? They always seemed to be known as the "pro" pro team and hyped up but never seem to live up to it.

Same question to @Furinkazen

Imo I've always thought Lamy deserved to be with Turner more than Mucke rather than in an AM car.

Fair point well made, Paul does seem to have quite a team this year. I guess you can afford it when you are involved in companies worth $3 billion.

Mucke really confused me at the Nurburgring he was 2nd fastest Aston driver at Silverstone, fastest at Spa, Le Mans is only giving me the LMP classes and at the Nurburgring he was middle of the road.

I thought Pedro was put in the AM car to almost be a sure thing that it comes home on the podium, not because he isn't as skilled as his pro colleagues.

That's a nice roof hatch

Nah it's because Paul invited him round to his office like this

German efficiency continued from the hammer this year at LM?

Actually, it may be a leftover wing from one of Audi's Pikes Peak cars. In a case of partnership between fellow VAG Group members, Audi is offering aerodynamic parts to Porsche, in a friendly manner. By next year, Porsche should have a matching massive front splitter, and then they will have a fully-prepared 911 Pikes Peak car and will go on to thrash Loeb's record.

See, this is a truly efficient plan, typical Germany.

919 Pikes Peak confirmed!

Haha, I'd like to see a LMP1 try to climb Pikes Peak just to see how much would it struggle up the mountain. Unless Porsche tuned the engine to make as much as 1200hp or something along those lines...

However, if Porsche ever gets around to perform in a Pikes Peak race, they might as well use either the 911 or whatever is that future GT3/GTE project they are making.

Well the HPD was going to attempt it...

The HPD would've never reached the finish. It was a really poor effort on all accounts, not least because they thought that simply raising the rideheight slightly would've sufficed.

To be fair the car just plainly wasn't very good.

Remember the Peugeot had running gear from the 908 Hybrid concept.

It did, but it had a better suited Pikes Peak body, which helped matters. The HPD just wasn't a sound concept overall, therefore it wasn't really going to succed...

In topic news, where did Kolles finish in the Nurb race? I missed most of the race due to being out of home...

The 208 only carried through about half of the 908's running gear, if that. People always think Pikes Peak being paved means you can run any kind of track car up there, but you would have more luck on dirt with the single seater. It's dangerously bumpy near the top.
