At least the joke matches the current state of F1....albeit a joke that I still find throughly enjoyable and wouldn't know what to do without it! I don't watch F1 to feel good anymore, just to feel normal :nervous:.

Also, could be false, but I heard that company is owned by Google. Imagine if Google came in and invested in a team....possible it would cause quite a competitive stir!

On the Google forecast it says Sunday will be dry until 23:00 when there is an 8% chance of rain, plenty of time for that to change.

Cold and wet start to the day here in Montreal. If the forecast is correct we've got huge showers due on Sunday.

:lol::lol:

Red flag.

I guess they need to get a wet weather feel just in case, but how weird a crash was that?

A gravel trap would have slowed him down there ;) The downside of having loads of tarmac runoff.

The nose isn't badly damaged but the pretty all of the front wing is gone.

The corner workers picking the car up were...shall we say "careless"? :lol: It swung back into the crane and the wing hit up against the cab, then it swung back into the wall...that's what looked like anyway lol.

Ah, well not surprising. Concerns me though, considering somebody ran over and killed a marshal last year with a crane (not that I expect anyone who watched or followed the thread to forget).

I don't think that is the "Full" reason why, the reason is when you have the teams in control of what happens to the series nothing will get agreed on due to too many self intrests, Mercedes on one hand would be insane to allow any proposal that requires a big change from the current format as they hold a huge advantage.

Just in the same way Redbull/STR would be insane to keep status quo.

You would think F1 could learn from the CART Failure.

Ecclestone says it has to go: http://au.eurosport.com/formula-1/ecclestone-strategy-group-must-go_sto4766301/story.shtml

2 Teams in strategy group also say it's not working(Redbull and Force India): http://m.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/119082

(shameful plug alert)
If you're interested in the numbers, I've done a simulation of the first stint between Mercedes & Ferrari, using a self-made edexcel lap sim based on FP2 laptimes. The accuracy of laptimes and deg. curves were pretty good, by my standards, at Monaco!

Still quite a bit of fudge in the sheet but I'm just confident enough to put it out there xD
