- The schedule for the day has not changed.

- Please also note the revised session times.

Sporting Regulations

A large number of important and significant changes have been made. This is in addition to a a number of minor changes for the sake of clarity and explanation.

- Removal of the need to Qualify Bronze drivers.
- Failure to Qualify Rookie Drivers now results in a 1 minute penalty instead of a Pit Lane Start.
- Revised Individual Lobby Disconnection & Lap Credit System.
- Blue Flags may be shown to entire sectors if there is a lot of traffic, e.g 'BLUE SECTOR 2' or 'B2'.
- The message '65 - BLUE' many now be abbreviated to '65 - B'.
- Clarification that Warnings are issued to a Car, not to an individual Driver.
- Increase in Warning allowance before a Penalty is issued.
- Requirement that Drivers now post 'DC' in the chat box before making a Driver Change.
- Clarification that the only Penalty for not meeting min driving time is that the Driver will not score Championship Points.
- Event Registration will now open at least 7 days before QP1.
- Forms now need to be submitted 48 hours before QP1.
- Revision on how grid time is calculated for teams that do not field 2 Drivers in QP.
- Reminder that Cars should be in single file behind the SC.
- Clarification of waive bys under SC.
- Provision to allow the Chequered Flag to be shown to the overall leader of the Race. This will be used very carefully and with due diligence.
- Requirement that Final Stint Photos are submitted within 6 hour of the Completion of a Session.
- New Appendix showing 60kph laps for all tracks, as well as Final Lap time limits.

Sporting Regulations

Yesterday I realise that I published a draft of the updated regulations, which was missing some key information regarding the new Disconnection Lap Credit System. This has now been amended. Below is an example of how the new system works in practice;

Track = Spa
Weather = Dry
SC = Not deployed at any stage during this time period

01 - I disconnect at 14:30 Race Time of Day.
02 - My last stint photo was at 13:45.
03 - A Timing & Scoring Update was completed at 14:00.
04 - Unaccounted time = 30 minutes.
05 - 107% of my team's Grid Time = 2:00.000
06 - I am credited 15 laps for unaccounted time.
07 - I am credited 1 lap for the lap I disconnected on.
08 - Recovery time to the pits = 7 minutes.
09 - I rejoin the the track at 14:35.
10 - I receive a penalty for 2 minutes.

This system has been put in place to be more accurate, however it should also have the side benefit of reducing the stress on drivers who Disconnect and allow them reset their network connection in a calmer and more thorough manner.
