I wonder whether Raikkonen should have been pitted a lap or 2 sooner as well, a fantastic drive especially considering the time he was losing at the end of stint 2.

But then he wouldn't of had as much tyre advantage.

Do they have baseball in the UK?

Nico already going home

I just realized the second anthem is for the constructor. I always just thought it was for second-place Nico.
Yeah, ever since Ferrari started doing it everyone did.

getting my popcorn ready for the Kimi interview

Only if his tyres were finished on the last lap. I bet he still had life in them. Talking to Allison now who doesn't agree with me either - he gets paid more than I do for that call!!!

It's not that, his tyre advantage wouldn't of been as much as it was pitting later.

I don't follow then, I thought he should have pitted a lap or 2 earlier at the end of stint 2 and get onto the softs sooner. He was losing a lot of time at the end of that stint, being passed by McLaren's, Force India and the like.

If he pits earlier his tyres don't have the grip advanatge they would have with an extra 2 laps relative to the mercedes, meaning he wouldn't of caught them at the same rate.

Its simple to understand

If Kimi could qualify he could be the complete driver.

If he can sort his qualifying he can take Vettel this year imo.

We have cricket.

Rounders.

Ball-curdling grammar/tenses aside... I think from his pace he had about 4 more laps in those tyres.

Kimi on 20 lap old options would still be faster than Lewis on 23 lap old prime. He was still doing 37's vs high 38's

Not denying that, what im saying is his tyre advanatge would be less if he has 2 extra laps on his tyres.

And those extra 2 laps grip loss, you carry for the entire stint.

High 39's from lap 36-40 vs high 37's from lap 55-57.
