Will be interesting to see how NBCSN ratings compare to FS1 ratings. Last week's race was their highest FS1 broadcast rating and I believe NBCSN is in less households than FS1 is. If there's a significant drop-off, I wouldn't be surprised if NASCAR puts pressure on NBC to show more races on the network instead of cable.

Household wise it's about even, iirc nbcsn is on the basic Xfinity package though so that may help (it was part of the basic package when I had them years ago).

The new seats on the frontstretch make Daytona look more like a stadium in that section.

I get NBCSN and not FS1 with the Time Warner basic cable package with 70ish channels. I'm happy to see the change for the second half of this season.

Race start under rain delay at the moment.

Calm down Rick Allen, or we will have commentary "prawblems".

EDIT: Love the new graphics.

Already going 3 wide and 2 wide... I don't even think they will get to the competition yellow

EDIT: There it is. Lap 4

Oh, Bobby Gerhart. No one asked you to bring ARCA into this series...

He has legit tried Daytona for a while though I think?

It doesn't look like it was his fault. He did a nice job locking it down.

After seeing the NASCAR Classics races, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Michael Waltrip type crash with all the wet grass.

 Using DW's boogity boogity, haha NBC.

"And we already have a caution on lap 2." - Rick Allen

That's screw up number 1. We'll wait for more PRAWBLAUMZ and mistakes later.

Suarez will wreck the whole field at some point this during race. I'm calling it now.

Jebus Logano...

Commentators are talking about the #18 passing while he was under the yellow line. I don't see why that's an issue when the #22 pretty much ran from the wall to the infield...

EDIT: Yep...this race is going to be nothing but people running out of talent. Lol at the crew chief. "Try and keep the fenders on it." Remijds me of the old EA NASCAR games.

Lap 4: Caution
Lap 9: Caution

Do they make it to lap 20 before another one happens?

Cautions breed cautions. Thoughts on 22 vs 18?

NASCAR didn't issue a penalty on it. Suarez didn't make a pass while he was on the line.

Yup, I spoke too soon.

Oh no, not Derrick Cope!
