Obviously, but I recall that a caution can't be issued after the leader crosses the white flag...

And also, what the heck happened to Brad's lip?
It can, and it ends the race if it occurs, same as in a GWC, the next flag after the White ends it

A.J. Allmendinger and Matt DiBenedetto also receiving medical treatment.

I can sort of see the reasoning though, because the turns wouldn't really allow the same type of racing. You couldn't enter that fast and there would be people mashing the walls at entry. I don't think it's so much as pack racing as to why they made it large, but to actually keep the race going at pace.

I'd love to see what they do at Kentucky at other places, but not at tracks larger than 1.5, as Ryan Newman will complain about flying cars again...

If they raced like Kentucky at the larger tracks, there'd be less possibility of cars getting launched into the air by other cars.

Would be curious about how that Kentucky Spoiler would work at a track like Texas.

Depends on how the aero package plays out. If it's a pack race, it will be abysmal, and in that case, I'd rather have the bad tires back because there'd at least be something interesting happening in the race.

NASCAR this week is all about the Midwest. That loving comse in two varieties. Question is... how do you like your NASCAR Midwestern loving? Do you like it on the dirt around Eldora with the Mudsummer Classic this Wednesday? Or do you like it around the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway (as I like to call, "the world's fastest road course")? All three top touring series are in action this week. Should be some great racing this week.

This huge rear spoiler is basically just an attempt to drastically slow down the lead car. The high rear spoiler will also open a gigantic hole in the air behind it, which should allow for more drafting passes on the long straightaways at Indy.

This weekend's race will probably look like something about halfway in between the typical NASCAR parade at Indy and the pass-for-the-lead-every-lap Indy 500 of the past few years.

Holy ****, I just remembered the time that a bunch of us on the NASCAR subreddit raided the Ryan Newman subreddit which is about the actress posting pictures of the driver
Someone from /r/nascar screenshotted a bunch of our post titles, unfortunately the mods deleted it all , but they were all various pictures of Ryan Newman from Google

I'm honestly more excited about the Mudsummer Classic being tomorrow than I am about Sprint Cup being at Indy this weekend. The truck race at Eldora is one of the best races of the year in all the top touring series whereas Indy is just Meh in my eyes.

You can look on YouTube for better videos (and maybe complete races). But just to give you an idea of the Mudsummer Classic, here is an old video courtesy of FOX Sports of the first of this event back in 2013:

To me, I equate the Mudsummer Classic for NASCAR Trucks in uniqueness as Formula 1 racing around the streets of Marina Bay in Singapore at night. Even a motorsports enthusiast like myself could appreciate this unique occasion for NASCAR Trucks. Part of me even wish maybe the XFINITY Series and maybe even Cup should try something like this. Or maybe for the Trucks, they could probably run Eldora... then maybe run Knoxville. Hey, why not? Two iconic dirt tracks featuring NASCAR's Truck series would be cool. What would be even more funny is if NASCAR's Cup series adopted a dirt track... in the Chase! It would be so entertaining to imagine if NASCAR Cup had its own Mudsummer Classic as a Chase event, meaning you'd have to learn how to ride around a dirt oval. That may NEVER happen, but it would be sure entertaining!

One thing I do wonder about the format is how come they don't do three 50-lap segments rather than its 60-50-40 format. You know, much like how hockey usually has three 20-minute periods. It will still be fun to watch the Trucks go around Eldora for the third Mudsummer Classic.

That is a very clever form of trolling.

I wonder if they had to make a rule explicitly stating the Reddit was not for the NASCAR driver.

Went through my submission history and found when it happened
