Can definitely deem that not of his doing, rather that his car for some reason decided now was a great time to have a impromptu Barbeque.

There's no way they can win that case. Stewart would be making a mistake if he settled that out of court.

It's not wrongful death when someone gets out of a race car, on a race track, by their own decision and then gets hit by a car that is moving on that same race track and ends up dying.

Didn't the autopsy on Kevin come back as Kevin having THC in his system as well?

When you punt somebody in the first corner don't be surprised when that somebody is ******....even pay drivers understand this. :banghead: Especially when you know...he's your teammate. -_-

How was the race? I missed again since I don't have NBC sports and was out and about all day and couldn't live stream it.

Only Keselowski or Logano was winning this race. They were so dominant, both had pit road issues and still got back to the front with ease. There was quite a bit of action behind them, though, so it kept things interesting.

JWT was in the race? Without turning a lap in qualifying?

Amazing how a guy can not qualify a car and get into the race, but guys who do set times get to miss the race.
Not sure what was the deal with that.

And a signal pirate wins again .
Just some random ideas I have that may fix that somewhat:
  • All Cup Drivers must start at the rear. Qualifying determines pit selection only.
  • Cap on races Cup Drivers are allowed to race in XFinity or cap on number of Cup drivers allowed in an XFinity field.
  • Cup Drivers are disallowed from practicing in the XFinity car.
  • All Cup Drivers are required to run with ballast.
The whole "Let's not give Cup driver Xfinity driver points" is an ineffective method.

Expect none of your ideas to be heard as long as money continues to be a major driving force.

Also: What the hell, Ty? He spun people out in the same damn corner, including a teammate. Seriously, you should at least pick up after the first time that "Hey, maybe this technique isn't the best way to get positions".

Money's a major driving force in just about every form of sports. Doesn't mean that change is impossible. Difficult, yes, but it can be done.

This is NASCAR, getting them to listen at all IS impossible.

I was glad Kenny Habul was alright after that brutal hit he took during the XFINITY race once his car caught fire. I thought he was some newcomer or something. The 2015 race at Watkins Glen was his 10th start in the series. I did a little reading on him, and he's Australian. During an interview, K. Habul mentioned something like "a few scotch, and I'll be okay" after being asked if he's alright after the crash.

Joey Logano ("Sliced Bread") was the winner of the XFINITY Series race at Watkins Glen. It was a Penske Racing 1-2 in fact with "Bad Brad" taking 2nd. I think I read this is the seventh time that Penske Racing finished 1-2 in the XFINITY series all-time. Have to see who'll take the Cup race around Watkins Glen. A.J. Allmendinger (the defending race winner) is on pole for the Cup race.

They just couldn't leave him alone in the end, could they?

🤬 all those money-hungry nutjobs. Here's hoping for them to burn lots of money for lawsuit costs only to lose.

If they felt one of their family members were wronged, then whats wrong with them seeking every opportunity to find justice?

Theres plenty of individuals, corporations, and businesses out there that will screw you over in a heart beat. Theres nothing admirable about just 'pulling your bootstraps up' and just taking it.

The stories not that simple

Besides, people like Casey Anthony have been let go free. The justice system is not perfect. The family, who feel they have been wronged, are simply exploring all their options.

Is it still wrongful death is the alt. video apparently shows the kid reaching out towards a moving vehicle?

Today's race is sold out.

The ovals barely sell out.
Well to be fair, Watkins Glen only has a seating capacity of 41,000 according to Wikipedia while many ovals have over 70,000 seats. Nevertheless, it does show that circuits are becoming ever more popular in NASCAR! :D At least 2 more should be added to the calendar!

AJ Allmendruggy starting on the pole. With a really bright colored helmet as well.

I understand that both of these are done for safety, but I do wish that NASCAR would run the Boot without the Bus Stop, make this place really high speed

The speed would be cool but I think the chicane helps with overtaking.

Can't decide who I'm pulling for to win today, A.J., Stewart, or Gordon.

I'll have to wait and see if any of them are around at the end.
