"People might think I did that on purpose", even wrecking people Matt can maintain his sarcastic attitude

Chad Knaus thought it was awesome and Jimmie Johnson pulled the ol' Kyle Petty with "That's incredible"

This is correct, and it is a direct consequence of the "Boys, have at it" era, plainly seen in 2012 when NASCAR didn't park Gordon when he deliberately wrecked championship contender Bowyer. The top drivers live by a code. They lose respect in the garage when they don't retaliate against the driver who wrecked them.

Accordingly, it will be interesting when NASCAR renders its verdict. Do they really want to signal a change in policy? NASCAR is commercially founded and must make money. If the fans and the media love this sort of racing, well at least the cars and walls are much safer than they were 15 years ago.

You have to wonder though: When will someone get so out of control, that they manage to lash out in an even more unsafe matter? We only saw a tenth of that when Brad doored Kenseth ON pit Road while he was unbuckling. How lower will it get from there?

Well, now that's imagery none of us want. :scared:

Would you like some bleach with that nightmare?

Not really... They pay gap in F1 is immense..... I mean it's HUGE.

In NASCAR, it's a publicized sport, meaning the most TV time equates to more people willing to sponsor such drivers.

In F1, the cars are the same, yet different. There is only so much you can change externally, but all the internals are what makes the cars competitive in different classes. The funding majorly affects this, and the outcomes of such races.

In NASCAR, the bodies are the same, and the internals are the same. Just about the only difference is what color you'd like your gauges to be. What's left is what mechanics and engineers are able to do. The data they get is only good as the engine they prepared in testing and practicing, and those who don't have enough funds to do so suffer greatly from it.

TL;DR:
F1: Corrupt pay scales
NASCAR: Sponsorship goes by TV time...

That's a abit of an extreme way to call it. I know the pay is immense, but that's abit out there.

In 2010, the Ferrari F1 team was running on 300 million dollars. In 2015, with the more expensive engines and development, I'd say it's near 400 million now. I can see how it can be viewed compared to NASCAR where you could run a car for a near minute fraction.

Im just going to quote logano here: "you can't fix stupid, its forever."
Logano should know since he's one of the afflicted.

please tell me thats fake cause you gave me a heart attack
That made me double take. If true, I think I've finally found the purest fountain of stupid.

NBC probably paid NASCAR to delay the announcement for the sake of their ratings.
