You know what? Furniture Row MIGHT be (or so I thought I heard) expanding to a second car AND they are switching to Toyota (which means automatically resource sharing from JGR). Perhaps THAT might be his chance?

Now that you said that, you might be right. Perhaps Gibbs will ask Furniture Row to have him drive as a favor if they do field a second team and are looking for a driver with the Toyota switch? If not, he's shown that he does have the outright speed to win races, so he will be a hot commodity if he decides to go full time.
 
NASCAR's excuses make no sense

So wrecking a chase contender in the chase is altering the outcome of who can be champion? But wrecking somebody in the first 26 races doesnt affect a driver's possible chase elgibility?

If this was Martinsville in the Spring and Matt wrecked Joey, the penalty would be vastly different. Now what if Joey went winless for the rest of the 26 race schedule and failed to make the chase on points? But he would have gotten in if he won the Spring Martinsville race had Kenseth not wrecked him then?

Liars like NASCAR who are only trying to cover for themselves can never tie up all the loose ends.

Its times like this when some sort of union should be in place

Most of the people in this thread are just couch-racing lowlifes who worship Jeff Gordon and think reddit is the pinnacle of entertainment. Asking them to be mature is like asking the the deaf to discuss music.
