So NBC chooses the Martinsville race to replay. That must be their way of keeping the Kenseth fans happy. :sly:

Just checked the hourly weather for Phoenix, doesn't look good. Rain almost non stop till about 1am.

Me thinks this will be a Monday race.

Rain delay... on the bright side I got to see Kenseth blow a right front tire at Martinsville.

Rain delay... on the bright side, I got to see a replay of a NASCAR race that's under the red flag...

🤬 you NASCAR!!! Don't you DARE move to NBCSN!!
If you're an NBC executive, look at the choices: A NASCAR race that will attract about 3-8 million viewers or an NFL game that will attract 20+ million viewers. The ad value of the NFL game is also a lot more valuable. Finally and most importantly, NBC is required to air the games in accordance to their NFL contract (which does not list cable as another choice for the game) and so does NASCAR (which does list cable as an alternative).

NBCSN doesn't have NFL coverage anyway, so the argument is moot. As of current TV deals, ESPN has national cable rights to the NFL.

Rain delay? Lets show a race with a red flag delay instead. Nice logic.

Someone explain to me again why we can't run that new fangled rain tire, and windshield wippers at a track as flat as Phoenix?

Because then Kenseth's luck will get worse; he'll both blow a right front and have a wiper malfunction. :dopey:

You guys did read the interview he did where he said that was a joke, right
My post was a joke.. :p

I know he didn't blow a RF Tire, but I thought it was funny.

Because it would be nothing but cautions.
