Anyone who gets the car patched together to run minimun speed, or even run a few slow laps, similar to what Crafton did last week in the truck race. Remember, this race is based off of finishing position. Three contenders could fininsh 41st, 42nd, and 43rd, and all the other driver would have to do was finish 40th to win.

It's all a bit silly, but it'd definitely be entertaining

Okay, so as unlikely as it may be, what would happen if all 4 contenders were taken out in a big wreck and all 4 couldn't continue? Would they go to wins throughout the year? Most laps led during the race? It would really bring out the stupidity in the gimmick

It's whoever finishes the best in the race, regardless of outcome.
 
If I had a quarter for every time the phrase "Cinderella story" was used when talking about NASCAR drivers...:lol:

I just realized Eric Jones could win rookie of the year AND the title, something I don't think anyone has done in the Truck series.
 
Its somehow taken all this time until about this past Monday for it to set in that Gordon won't be on the track next year. Anyone else? :boggled:

I'm 19 now and I'm feeling extremely jealous. Especially since I really want to get into racing.
 
Not too shabby of a truck racing season. Crafton would've won the championship comfortably if he didn't get taken out at a few races this season. Erik Jones was always there, though, so great effort there.

Biggest surprise of the year, Jon Wes Townley winning a race, a non-restrictor plate race. It happened a few miles from where I live and I still can't believe it that happened.
 
Well its happened, we got our youngest champion ever as well as a Champion/ROTY year (even though that hasn't been bought up once by the announcers).
 
Including myself. Maybe I'd have enough money to get myself a cheap car to start racing if I didn't order pizza and Chinese every week. :banghead: :dunce:

Man, you gotta lean how to budget! I've been eating ramen noodles for the past six months! Saving money, and working on my first sponsorship deal! :D :lol:
