Complains about media constantly talking about Danica

----

Goes on the internet and talks about Danica.

I just have a feeling that if the roles were reversed people would blame Danica like they do whenever she, or one of the other punching bags are involved in a crash that wasn't really their fault.

If she didn't bring it on herself, we wouldn't be attacking her. She made 2 racing incidents that happened to involve the same driver into something that can be determined to be her fault. The fact that she is acting like a spoiled child when things don't go her way and externalizing a mistake by herself is what I do not like about her and will continue to call her out on it until she decides to act like she belongs in the big leagues and take responsibility

Danica got fast tracked into the cup series for no other reason than being a female who is kind of cute. That's also the only reason she even has a ride. Nothing to do with talent. Only way she'll ever win a race is fuel mileage if everyone runs out of gas and she has 2 gallons left in the tank for not putting the hammer down as hard as everyone else. Just like Indy car career. She brings a lot of money into NASCAR end of story.

Why Sprint, why? Why is it that the only commercial that you seem to be airing this week for NASCAR related coverage is the Narwhal commercial?

The judge's decision in the Driscoll-Busch court case.

A major factor in the case was likely the claim that Driscoll was a trained assassin. That was one of the dumbest claims in a court case I've ever heard.

Not to say any other factors were important but that sounds like something a 10 year-old who's played too much Call of Duty would come up with. Regardless, the case is closed now.

The entire thing was a circus, but because there was no actual evidence of the abuse, and it was a claim of domestic assault, the most the court could have done was place the requested restraining order on Kurt.

Where is the other one? You can put the practice crash on her(and her spotter), but the one during the Duals looked like your typical Daytona/Talladega crash that I've seen countless times before.

I have no problem with her being called out when it's something she has actually done wrong. Yesterday wasn't one of those though. Sure, with the benefit of replays from a thousand different angles we know Denny didn't do anything, but in the heat of the moment I can see why Danica was frustrated. So she blew a gasket, it happens to everyone and at least she kept it verbal unlike pretty much every other driver.

Honestly, I'm just sick of the "Stenhouse/Dillon/Patrick Sucks" posts whenever one them is involved in something even if they are not at fault. I know this is not something that's limited to the NASCAR world and in my view is one of the causes in the interest in motor racing declining world wide.

Soooo anyone here who could help out a fellow German with a tip for a good stream for the 500?
I know it's a bit early, but better now than when it's too late.

The lack of NASCAR coverage on German TV is so annoying.

I just want to share a few quick thoughts before this season gets underway in NASCAR's top three Touring Series. In my debut to this thread, I certainly want the best for Jeff Gordon. He got me into NASCAR when I was barely learning about racing starting back in late 1998. The 1999 (then) Winston Cup season was the first season I followed NASCAR. Every season since, I've wanted Jeff Gordon to win races and championships. When he fully retires, it will be the end of an era for a generational driver like Jeff Gordon. My biggest hope would be for Jeff Gordon to retire on top- win his 5th Cup Championship. And in my view... first year he's up for the Hall of Fame, he should be a no-doubter to make the NASCAR Hall of Fame (or any other motorsports Hall of Fame for that matter).

Having said all of this, it's time we turn NASCAR stock cars and NASCAR stock trucks loose between now and mid-November. Regardless of who your favorites are in any and all levels of NASCAR, good luck to all drivers and teams for the 2015 season of NASCAR racing. Race hard, be safe, have fun, and put on a great show.

Interesting that Truck Series qualifying is being done in groups of 10 for round 1.

Why couldn't the Cup Series do this last Sunday?

I know I praised Jeff Gordon in my previous post. I know I've been here on GTPlanet for a while. Maybe I am not as in-tune with NASCAR as I should being here. But please... don't EVER label me as any "fanboy" of anything, especially professionally sharing my adoration of something or someone.

I'm taking 2 Germans to Fontana next month. Gonna be lots of beer consumed.

Which will be the only way to make the first 185 laps of the race seem exciting. :sly: Then when NASCAR throws a phantom debris caution with 15 to go, you'll see the best racing of the year assuming you and your friends are still able to see straight. :P

My brother became a fan of Kurt Busch after he took over the 2 car (when Rusty Wallace retired), I'll bet he will be pissed when he finds out.

Fully agree and it's funny, because it was almost the same for me.
NASCAR 98 from EA Sports was one of my first three PlayStation games I got with my PS1 for Christmas and he was on the cover and just had the coolest livery.

It looks like NASCAR will have an announcement of some sort at 6:40 p.m. ET. I'm going to guess that the announcement will confirm Busch's indefinite suspension.

Are you always like this? Guy comes in, talks about his memories watching Jeff Gordon and you automatically have to slap "Fanboy" on him.

I was messing with him. I realize it's hard to comprehend how people mean things over the computer but you seem pretty sensitive about it. I don't care who anyone's favorite driver is. Good for him.

I was correct. That press conference confirmed that Kurt Busch was suspended indefinitely suspended. Chevrolet also has made a statement saying that they have indefinitely suspended their ties with Kurt Busch as well.

How is what I was saying me being "Sensitive"? Considering I've never seen you interact with him until today (And judging by his response, he clearly doesn't interact with you either), I couldn't exactly tell you were joking and neither could he obviously. I just thought I saw what looked like an instigating post towards someone who did nothing and wanted to diffuse it. Your response to me afterwards didn't help.
