How many times is it going to take of cars hitting unprotected concrete walls before they decide that every inch of wall needs SAFER barriers on them?
Well... They should

Front driver's side impact against a solid concrete wall at 90-100 MPH, the car done the best job as possible.

Just Kyle's terrible luck he hit a unprotected wall.

Looks a lot like Hamlin's wreck from Auto Club in 2013.

Why has NASCAR not added sand traps to some of these tracks? Something to slow down these cars!

Even hitting a safer barrier there at that angle/speed would probably break the driver.

He may miss the 500 if his leg is indeed hurt

Either too small to help or too large andanytime someone is sideways drivers roll over. Bad idea.

Daytona spent millions to renovate the grandstands but still doesn't have safer barriers on both sides of the track. Yeah, I don't get it either.

We have...
  • Brian Vickers out for heart surgery recovery.
  • Kurt Busch out for being indefinitely suspended.
  • Kyle Busch potentially out for an injury.
So that's three Cup regulars which will be out for the 500.

They are expanding, but too slow. Expect barriers there for the Coke Zero race.

Larry Mac got pissed o.o

Forget Sadler then. That guy jumps from team to team too much.

Don't know who would replace him then.

Sadler would probably replace him if he has to miss it.
I think Jeb Burton may get the chance too. Potentially Suarez.

I'm still a little shocked at how hard his impact was

Let's go David Starr. :D

NASCAR has been dodging this bullet for while. A similar spin happened to Logano during the Duel race in '11 but he hit the end of the pit wall first.
