Because that causes cars to dig in or possibly go airborne even more violently.

Either too small to help or too large andanytime someone is sideways drivers roll over. Bad idea.

Fair point. But yes, safer barries need to be everywhere.

Daytona spent millions to renovate the grandstands but still doesn't have safer barriers on both sides of the track. Yeah, I don't get it either.

• Kurt Busch out for being indefinitely suspended.
• Kyle Busch potentially out for an injury.

So that's three Cup regulars which will be out for the 500.
