I remember Pepsi Blue, not Crystal Pepsi.

Ohhhh yeeeaaaaaa

I only ever had one bottle of that stuff, but never forget...

I fondly remember both Crystal & Pepsi Blue. I loved both.

Moffitt to the #55 again, Vickers has more blood clots reportedly.

He's going to keep dealing with this issue for the rest of his life, so don't be surprised when this keeps occurring.

Will doctors clear him to race if it's a lifelong issue?

Edit: well I guess they did once already...

Its just weird that as far as I can remember, he didn't have this issue most of his career until that first time a few years ago and its been recurring ever since. I can't help but wonder what is it that keeps causing that.

He probably should not be racing with his heart conditions at all in the first place.

It's no different than any other athlete that has dealt with blood clots. If the clots are gone, and they're not on blood thinners, there is nothing preventing them from competing.

As far as I know, once you've had blood clots, you're susceptible to having them reoccur at any given time. Something about how the blood coagulates that causes it to happen.

I guess this also means that Xarelta doesn't work very well since he's had blood clots again, although he might not have been on it due to the recent heart surgery.

Yeah, it might not be the best for Xarelta for Vickers to be in their commercials...

Considering the string of lawsuits they are getting, Vickers being in their commercials is the least of their problems.

Xfinity race is the Drive4clots 300.

Not sure if that's great timing or poor timing...

Or Vicker's body has a twisted sense of humor.

Sucks that Vickers has these blood clot issues crop up every now and then.

If Kurt wins the championship, which at the moment doesn't seem that unlikely considering his success as well as his teammate, Harvick's, then SHR will have 3 championships with 3 different teams in 5 years. Correct me if I'm wrong, but nobody has done that before.

Looking at the list of champions, the closest anyone's come to that is Petty Enterprises in 6 seasons, 1959-1964. Lee Petty won in '59, Richard in '64, and in '63 one of the cars Joe Weatherly drove was Petty Enterprises', but that doesn't exactly count.

Now that you mention it, the most times that's been done is 2, Roush in 2003 with Matt Kenseth and 2004 with...Kurt Busch. Granted that was consecutively, but I just found it funny that Kurt Busch might be apart of something never done before again.

Nah, Hendrick did it with Terry Labonte and Gordon in '95-'96
