He has to be as the midfield is weak as ever with no Banega and Krychowiak but I rate Kiyotake higher than him.

Trust me. The farther away he stays the better. Arsenal will dodge a real bullet if Higuain decides to join another team.

One thing is scoring 36 goals in Serie A and another to do it in the Premier. He'll do well in China, I'm sure.

Apparently Belgium's squad still has the problem of having 2 camps. The Flemish and Wallonians. They need someone who can take away that feeling and unite them. And also have decent management capabilities.

You know what, I was thinking about this during the Euro qualifiers. Without looking it up, I would estimate that there are more Wallonians (Lukaku, Courtois, Wilmots, Mignolet, Hazard, Dembele, Kompany, Benteke, Fellaini) than Flemish (De Bruyne, Alderweireld, Vertonghen). Now, not wanting to go off topic too much about the Frenchifying of Belgium, and Brussels in particular, that really must be a hot topic amongst the team.

Perhaps what they need is a foreign manager, neither Belgian, French nor Dutch, who can come into the team and not give a 🤬 about what part of the country the player is from. Be a bit more non-partisan and disinterested.

Schtieve McCluijren is waiting for that phone call...

I'd see Leicester top six this year. Possibly flirting in and around the title race but I would be surprised if they can repeat last year's success without retaining their key players.

Looks like Juve are Bayern'ing their rivals if they get Higuaín, after Pjanić. :indiff:

Although there is reports that Napoli(understandably) aren't really willing to negotiate with Juve. They've given them a '🤬 off' quote of €94 million.
 
Higuain could look to joining Arsenal which will cost around €50m + Giroud.

Spurs are close to signing Nkoudou from Marseille.

Strootman and Manolas have been involved in an altercation which means the exit of Manolas is imminent.

It's a shame he chose to leave after Vardy chose to stay, but not surprising - I think he could've gone to any of the top teams in the Premiership as none of them had a defensive midfieilder anywhere near as good as him.

If they loose Mahrez then I'm not sure top 6 would be possible, especially with Kante gone aswell that's a massive blow.

Kante was like an extra player on the pitch and Mahrez / Vardy combo up front meant opposing team had to leave players back to combat that threat.

Combined with teams like Liverpool and Chelsea being stronger this year, the top 6 is gong to be a crowded place.

If Leicester can get off to a good start and get some confidence and momentum going, then maybe they could stay near the top, but if they loose Mahrez aswell and don't get a solid start then they might be mid table, or worse.
