Safety car........

Greaaaat start.

Ericsson moves back on lap 1 for the first time this season

Don't think Lewis can be punished for corner cutting if the cars are bunched up now...

I guess that means because Hamilton cut the corner and the safety car was called it will probably be no further action

replay of the start pls! Did ROS gain with that touch and off track move?

EDIT: Yep that is an advantage for a position

the track is so dusty

Great start by the Hulk, terrible turn 1 by he Mercs

They're investigating Ros v Ves.

Can't decide on that one, but looks like Max took too much space there.

Hamilton really had a very GT6 Quick Match approach to turn 1, but then again Rosberg did the same thing at turn 2 to get past the Red Bull. That was more intentional than Lewis locking up.

Can we have a drive through for BOTH Mercs for cutting turn 2? Would make the race VEERY interesting
What was Rosberg supposed to do? Pull straight back into the field and cause a massiv crash?

Sainz will probably park it in his garage after saying his gearbox is failing

Lost the feed on my end. Thanks, DirecTV. :grumpy:

Max did hit Nico on the exit of lap 1 turn 1

No further action for Rosberg or Verstappen...

No further action. Fair enough. Tit for tat. Max ran Nico off the road, Nico had to avoid him. No advantage gained.

I mean, come on. That was obvious from the very first replay. Max banged wheels with Nico without being fully alongside. Where the hell would Nico go?

All aboard the Massa train. Choo choo!

5 second time penalty for Sainz, forcing Alonso off the track.

Great save from Alonso after seeing the replay of him being forced off by Sainz

Interesting math from the announcers on Fox/Sky, Ricciardo may just have pulled off the undercut on Nico.

He has gone through the rest of the field like a knife through butter

He'll have to pit again though, while Rosberg can go to the end
