IIRC, it was a water pump problem; someone correct me if I'm wrong here.
It's not certain but two things have been said. Some have suggested water pump, some comms have said that hybrid system replacement. Brendon Hartly was asked and only said it had something to do with temperature.
Ok thanks guys 👍

Devastated for Webber :irked:

Honestly the Vettes have and still do sound better than anything in my opinion from person experience. The old Ford V8 GT's sounded great as well. But the new FGT V6 turbo's sound like ass in person.

I have to disagree wholeheartedly. Those things sound so old, and wack, and like any other raspy, 60's-70's Era V8. No thanks. Sometimes I feel nostalgic, and ****, but after doing a few too many of the LS swaps in a S2K, and several S13/14's, I'm so not into those American V8's.

Give me a Turbo V6 Toyota Motor with Battery Boost, or V6 Twin Turbo Honda Motor, any day of the week.

Haha looks like that fix from Porsche didn't work. Typical Porsche, barely runs, and runs hot, and has electical issues that are usually untraceable. #ToyotasTimeTho

Major Porsche #1 issues.

Still sounding sick, but incredibly, the thing's moving again. Amazing work by Porsche.

After watching the 6 hr at Spa I was wondering how many of these LMP1-HY cars were going to make it 24 hours, apparently not many of them.

#1 Porsche got into the garages a while ago with "temperature issues", as reported bu Hartley. It wasn't clear if it was either water pump or hybrid unit, both things were suggested. They released the car and on that same lap it was out of the engine, only had electric drive and is now limping back to the pits.
