Foster's too old to be effective, if Miami or any team signs him for more than 1 million, it's an overpay

Dude and we just picked up Nate Washington... I really don't know how other teams are going to stop our offense this year. :D

And Bennett was underused in Chicago because Jay Cutler is absolutely terrible. Different story in New England

EDIT: On the argument of RG3 going to Browns, all I have to say is that his career is over. There are no real offensive weapons and the offensive line is terrible. Only hope he has is to run, and we all know how fragile he is. He would have been much better suited with Denver.

RG3 is done. I like the guy, but NO ONE can save the Browns.

You guys don't understand that Foster tore his achilles tendon. It would be miraculous if he came back as a decent RB. Same thing with Cameron Wake. If Foster signs with the fins it's going to be the All-Achilles team.

I like RG3 as well, but man has he hit rock bottom since his rookie season!

This is true. I tend to forget about past injuries sometimes... It would in fact be especially hard for Foster to be an All-Star with that injury at his age.

There were a lot of players that became free agents at the end of the Bengals' season. Notable re-signs have included Adam (not Pacman anymore) Jones, George Iloka, Vinnie Rey, Eric Winston, Pat Sims, and Brandon Thompson. Unfortunately we lost both receivers Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu. We did re-sign (a much less effective) Brandon Tate. Also newly added to the stable alongside Green, Eifert and co. is Brandon LaFell. Finally, to help the linebacking core, we just picked up Karlos Dansby.

Unfortunately the pessimist realist in me sees another good regular season followed by a one and done, as per the usual. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Pacman Jones still plays ball?!?!?!

Didn't saw a single Bengals game last season, I had no idea that "Adam Jones", was actually him...

Yup. He continues to play extremely well. Unfortunately he does still occasionally have his stupid moments that cost the Bengals penalties. Off the field, he's kept himself out of trouble though.

I just need to go on the record of saying that my New England Patriots are going to be straight fire this year! Our DL is going to be rock solid not to mention the rest the team.

On another note, did anyone see the rumor that Denver is looking at Johnny Manziel? Like what team wants Manziel and Sanchez lmao

I wish D'Brickashaw Fergusson of the New York Jets well in his retirement. Hanging it up after 10 seasons. Early retirement seems to be a trend lately in the NFL. I hate to say this, but as much as gridiron football is great to watch and play, there may come a point to where the NFL may finally be overtaken by the likes of the NBA, Major League Baseball, and maybe even the NHL as the premier sport in the United States. That's especially if we see more early retirements and more doubt being raised.

This next few seasons will be very testing for the NFL that's for sure. There are many greats that will be retiring all within this next five years and it's going to create a VERY different feel in the NFL.

The atmosphere surrounding the NFL has changed. It was once about excitement. Now it's unnecessary violence on and off the field. The players and the fans alike are turning more abrasive. Maybe that's just my opinion, but that opinion has all but killed my enthusiasm for the game.

My thoughts and prayers go out in loving memory of former New Orleans DE Will Smith, who was shot and killed in New Orleans a road rage incident. He was 34 years old and played his college 'ball at Ohio State. Spare some thoughts for him and all whom have known and loved him.

More details about the police investigation. Apparently he was dining with a officer who had once been sued by the shooter, 28 year old Cordell Hayes, hours before the crash, but police are not saying, citing an active investigation. Police are also investigating whether or not the shooting may have been in self-defense. Hayes is sitting in jail facing second-degree murder charges while police are investigating.

The Titans have traded the #1 pick to the LA Rams for the #15 pick in the 1st round, the #43 and 45 pick in the 2nd round, the #76 pick in the 3rd round and 1st and 3rd round picks in 2017. The Rams also receive a 4th and 6th round pick in this years draft.

Carolina vs. Denver for the first game of the season.... I think it's safe to say Denver will get destroyed this time around seeing how they've replaced half the team

...and not in a good way!

The Houston Texans unloaded QB Brian Hoyer. So any team wanting a QB... he's on the market. Get him while you can.

According to CBS Sports Network's "Time to Schein," the New York Jets are reportedly into getting Brian Hoyer. Whomever geys Hoyer may have him 2nd or 3rd on the QB depth chart. He's still a fairly good QB. Just not great.

If the Jets don't pony up for Fitz they are just wasting the salary of every player on that team (especially Revis' gigantic cap hit). I saw their schedule the other day and even with Fitz, they'd be lucky to reach 8-8 this year. He has a rapport with the OC, the coach, the two top WRs and the media in NY.

Anything the Jets do or say at this point in mentioning a QB not named Fitzpatrick is blowing smoke to make him take less money. Sure, they could sign Hoyer or trade for Kapernick or draft Paxton Lynch if he's there at pick 20 (or trade down) but any of those options sets them back from last year. That team is built to win games now and if they need to start Geno Smith or a rookie or a veteran QB new to the system, that will take time that they don't have.

As long as Hargreaves or Ramsey is there when the Dolphins pick...

I know Ramsey won't be there. Hoping for Hargreaves though.
