Why Lewis was attempting to cut inside on Nico after Nico started moving right we might never know

According to Mercedes that was the point at which Rosberg's engine "de-rated". It seems that Hamilton might have only had the option to go through or around.

I am cursed. I felt like every time there was an interesting race last year I missed it. Now this year I haven't missed a single minute until my alarm clock messed up this morning, and I wake up to see RB leading. X(

SMH, Renault's strategy is terrible.

Julie-Ann is holding Ricciardo up and ignoring blue flags. He better be careful here...

EDIT- As I type that, he lets him by.

Over half distance. 2 cars, from different teams, battling hard for the lead, and neither is a Merc.

When's the last time we saw that??
Singapore

26 to go and I don't know who's going to win!! This isn't F1, I can't handle this!!

Magnusson with a great pass on Ericsson.

Vettel's extra pit is just as head-scratching as Verstappen's early one.

This will be an interesting finish.

I blame Mercedes. They keep thinking that Lewis and Nico can be good teammates.
Not really, this is only the second time since the new rules that they have cost the team a shed load of points.

Vettel probably should have had this in the bag but now he may have to rely on team orders...

Have McLaren worked their way out of points? Kvyat up to 9th now. I'm guessing people still have stops to make?

Front right tyre of Riccardo catching on something... Maybe

11th and 12th. I'm assuming put stops still needed for some.

Has anyone else noticed that Ferrari started on yellow T tyres?

We don't know who will win yet. Maybe Hamilton and Rosberg should get a 22 place grid penalty for the next race?

I noticed but thought it was the lack of coffee talking to me.

Alonso out.

No power.

I think Kimi deserves a bigger shout out than what he's getting. Whenever it seems he's lost his edge he puts in a great performance, done a fab job to get back into this race.

Regardless I see this going down as one of the all time classics. This what F1 should really be like 👍
