Only dislike with that Renown tribute livery is the red endplates on the wing... ruin it IMO.

I don't even care honestly, the livery sticks out enough that the endplates are hardly noticeable.

"Ginger Ninjer"

They also had the Indy program listed but I thought that was built by Ilmor.

I don't remember who built the Indy engines, I just know the sport car side of things and those on NASCAR end. Katech does all the sportcar stuff. So you're probably right.

Which is strange because that press release is claiming in rather vague wording that they are built in-house. Katech builds the current PC engine but makes no claims to the LS7 5.5L so I bet they are building that in house.

Probably a situation where they get the engine from GM but put the PC spec tuning on it.

With the rumors of an MR Corvette being flung around more than usual, a thought occurred to me (though it might be from having not slept well); would GM possibly be taking advantage of GTE regs by making a limited production MR Corvette to replace the current C7.R? :odd:

Valid as anything, but wouldn't it just be the Cadillac Ford GT? Also, something tells me it would not go over well with "classical" Corvette owners, and even some prospective owners

Call it the Corvair.

This can go here too since the car will be run by CORE next year. http://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/porsche-testing-2017-spec-911-gte-turbo-at-monza/

I guess..?

Another throwback to throw into the mix.

That's dope. Reminds me of when RC touring cars used to be popular

BMW making a throwback to one of the most controversial GT cars of all time while putting said livery on a GT3 car in a class made for GTE machinery. Kinda ironic.
Actually the livery is based on one of the straight 6 Bimmer's isn't it? If I recall correctly, that livery was from the season when only the factory BMW ran the completely out of regulation V8 in some red/white/blue checkered flag scheme. Only partially ironic.

Yes, that's how the E46 M3 GTR was spawned.

55 Mazda showing some speed in practice.

27 Lambo crashed hard. Heavy damage to the car and to the barriers.

Seeing as Lone Star Le Mans gets a lot of coverage, I was wondering if anyone thought we could see it be added to the TPEC in the near future. I know the circuit is in a tough state right now funding wise, but it'd be great to see another major race there as its a damn nice track

Thats the second Lambo he's wrecked this season.

Hope Change Racing is sending him the bill.
