Apparently Alonso is so awesome that his McLaren couldn't handle it.

The TL;DR is that up until qualifying, Alonso would lift when going through Pouhon, and the car would respond by deploying it's energy system. During Q2 he took it flat out and the car didn't delpoy the energy system. Had he lifted, he might've gotten into Q3.

Interesting to see how stoffels mclaren performs, being he has a slightly higher spec engine than alonso and they don't seem as far of the pace as expected for a high speed track.

I guess that's called International English, it's what you sound like when your taught by a variety of English speaking teachers from all over the world and pick up an accent that sounds like nothing particular.
