Even though these spy photos are from earlier this year, posting them now because it may be relevant shortly.

Why do manufactures even bother using camo if they're just shrinking/expanding their generic corporate design?

*yawn*

It's a modest facelift of compact crossover white goods. I suppose the new hybrid is mildly interesting if you're into that sort of thing. The bottom interior pic is nice enough, though the cutline on the bottom of the leather above the glovebox makes that portion look permanently crooked.

It's a nice looking car. The size is perfect. The one thing that lets it down arvthe switchgear. The buttons on the doors are outdated when compared with the exterior styling. Plus, I guess Nissan will never change from the orange dash illumination. White on black would dress it up so much better.

Color me curious on the Rogue Sport. With the better chassis and the American-sized engine, it could wind up being a weirdly better option than it's international siblings. With so much standard equipment on the standard S, it seems like it'd be a good value, too. Definitely high up on the list of things I'm looking to replace the GF's Renegade with.

Cost cutting will do that to you, which makes me wonder how far they'll dip under $20k for a front-drive S. Sweet spot seems to be right at $23k or so with AWD and the SV package, here's hoping they come close.

If you can find a way to drive a Sentra with the same engine in it (if you haven't done so already) I would do that. Will give you an idea of what to expect, then figure that the SUV will weigh more.

Would adding a "Spec-_" or "_-Tune", make it a little better? Getting the name out there for normal and new customers to see, is good.

We know what NISMO means, but there are a bunch of non-enthusiasts that don't. I get that paying " How much?" for only red trim and skirts with no bump in hp and no suspension tuning, is questionable. In the same breath, I don't want to see the name tarnished either.

Finally got around to driving a Rogue Sport aka Qashqai and I have to say, other than needing a bit more power, it's not half bad. In fact, I much prefer it over the current Rogue. Ride is great, handling isn't bad, and it's relatively quiet aside from wind noise at highway speeds. My mom has been considering purchasing a newer car recently, I may have her take a look at one.
