The referee needs to start punishing the Colombians just for accumulation more than anything. If the ref has watched the highlights of the first half, he'll know what's going on and what needs to be done.

You've got to start sending people off for that or anything. There's been discussions of just allowing the captains to speak but that's it.

The scuffing of the penalty spot before the kick and the refusal of the Colombian players to accept the refs decision should have seen the match abandoned in my view, new level of cheating is this.

England need to stop getting involved in it too.

He apparently got up and motioned to ref that he hadn't been touched. May have saved him.
