It wouldn't be a IMSA race without a Mazda fire, even with a great team running them those cars really are crap.
 
55 had a fuel leak. Now coming back out on track.
 
55 had a fuel leak according to NBC. Could be that the 77 had the same issue with far far worse results.

And only 3 laps down, so not ALL hope is lost with 17 hours remaining. with the rate we've been having cautions, they could get back on the lead lap.

Mazda sailing wonderfully... until the bottom fell out recently. This is an awful break for Mazda. Hope Mazda can bounce back from this one if they can.

This block on NBCSN is told to go mostly from 9:00 PM Eastern Time to 3:00 AM Eastern Time. So there's a lot to enjoy for on-air stuff.
 
I leave for a little bit and come back to see both Mazda's have had issues. :banghead:

At least JDC-Miller is running well.
 
#77 is being worked on, maybe it’s not completely out

I’m also happy to “see” that the #25 M8 is running pretty well but sorry about #24’s issues. At least all GTLM are still running.
