This makes me question why Rutledge was asked to come to this race

RLM missed it but the Kobayashi car had contact with another prototype on the oval, some debris flew but I'm not sure which car it came from.

Edit: Looking at the gaps the contact was probably with Vautier in the Dallara/Cadillac.
 
This flat track motorcycle stuff is...interesting.
 
#73 with a flat left rear.
 
More like a missing left rear. Looked like the whole wheel is gone.
 
NASCAR stage racing for 24 hours would be an utter fork-fest

I think they may have just hinted at a 2nd Turner M6 at some point in the year.

Did you see that in-car view of the No. 33 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT? It was interesting seeing that rear view camera that lets you know of any incoming cars or anything like that. I haven't seen anything like that with a rear view camera in a race car. Fascinating...

Corvette Racing developed that system years ago and started selling it to everyone else in the past few seasons.
