I think it's safe to say that all the liveries for this weekend are stunning. For me the Triple 8 is the best. But they are all amazing.
 
Seeing all the teams get behind this Indigenous Round with the special liveries will make for great viewing.

Yeah all the liveries will look awesome. Hopefully the racing will decent as well.
 
Tickford haven't done liveries other than the hood on Randle's car which is disappointing.

Yep, silly mistake but luckily for WAU it won't cost them anything. Loose your practice time = no big deal.

At least they how low they can't go now :sly:
 
Fullwood, Jake Kostecki and Pither are my MVP's so far. All of them punching above their weight this weekend*.

I'd hazard a guess that Percat might be starting to regret his move. Seeing how well Heimgartner is doing in his old car, while he can't even qualify anywhere outside the top twenty.

*Until I jinxed them all.

Yeah, had a read of that. I think it’s a shame it was all downhill when FPR didn’t place him in a car. He and Lebrocq got screwed. It was nice that they could be backed by a major team, but there wasn’t a plan place to utilise them. They even had to go to other teams for their Bathurst debuts.

Yeah a real shame.
 
After seeing how his weekend went, I had a feeling that was going to happen.
 
Never been a big Jacobson fan, he's never lived up to the hype he showed in the development series and he certainly didn't do himself any favors with some very questionable driving last weekend. Still thought he going okay though. You could make an argument that there's a couple of others on the grid who should have gotten the boot before him.

Interesting to see who replaces him and what implications this has on the Bathurst line ups.
 
If it can't be the opening round, having it as the finale is absolutely perfect. Hopefully it stays that way beyond the next five years.

I love it being the season finale. Can't wait and hopefully it can have the title decided on that weekend too. It'll be awesome no mater what the championship picture is looking like.

It says in the article that Golding is now the favourite. But we should have an announcement today or tomorrow about who the driver is.
 
I read about Golding. It’d be good for him. However, I didn’t know he’s got loot.

The moral of the story here is, don't fire a driver unless you have already have a replacement who's ready to go.

Xiberras not looking much better than Webb at the moment, honestly.

Yeah it's happening a lot in motorsport in general these days. I just don't get why you fire a driver but yet your not prepared to replace them. It's just ridiculous.
 


Wonder if any other teams will keep their Indigenous liveries going for Townsville. Would be nice if they did.

It seems like they'll be the only ones to keep them for Townsville. The QLD teams kept the liveries on for the test at QR this week but by the sounds of things they were reverting back to there normal liveries for Townsville.
 
A fourth Bathurst wildcard has been announced. With Chahda Motorsport to run a WAU Commodore. Not exactly the WAU wildcard I was hoping for but I can't remember the last time there were this many cars on the grid for the 1000. Good stuff.

That's what I used to call Rick Kelly. The Kelly brothers were Reckless Kelly & Crash Bandicoot to me in their younger days.
