Couldn't get to sleep anyway. Never can when it's Le Mans.

Surprised the stewards have not black flagged that car since its wiper is not working

I’m still happy with the race. Cars haven’t stopped on track or in the pits and we’ll have a large amount of cars racing for this final third of the race.

The bad news with that radar is there is another band of showers building off to the west offshore.
I see what you mean.

Feels like at this rate, it's going to become a sprint run to the finish. Good thing the leaders are still within' spitting distance of each other.

I’m loving the contrasting driver/engineer conversations:
Cadillac (runs great in wet) “No standing water. Let’s go racing!”
Ferrari (runs great in the dry) “Conditions are atrocious. We need to stay yellow!”

Safety cars speeding up, talks of unifying the field behind single car.

Uhhh, listen to the driver please.

Apologies to LMP2 fans, but I kind of feel like we only need two categories, prototypes and GT cars. Eliminating LMP2 would open up more spaces for both.

Agreed, no need for spec cars in this. Hypercars, GT, and let's bring a NASCAR back... and a GT500 car... and a V8 Supercar...

Based on Downhill Dino's post at 9pm (my time) talking about the start of the safety car & it's now nearly 1am... we've really been just trotting along for 4 hours now?

Yes, yes we have.

Yep. I'm just casually listening to the Beastie Boys at this point

Oh yeah, always reserve a few spots for exhibition cars like NASCAR, the Deltawing from a few years ago, etc.

The #78 and #87 need to pass around. They're ahead of the #92.

Drivers be like : Where is the throttle already?

Edit : Sun is not that far.
