Why that?I'm sure Max is aware what he's getting into, but long term I just can't see him getting on well with a BOP formula.
We've seen how frustrated he gets when his Red Bull isn't as quick as he'd like, or if he feels something is wrong with it; I just can't see him taking it well if he wins a few races and the car is BOP'd out of competitiveness for the next few events. Why that?
Whatever car he's running in, I'm sure the organizers will make sure it's competitive with BoP. Kind of like how Ferrari has gotten favorable BOP at LM for 3 years straight, because they're FerrariI'm sure Max is aware what he's getting into, but long term I just can't see him getting on well with a BOP formula.
Yeh, but Silverstone was a total stitch up - it was not unexpected or unpredictable and in fact the opposite. The lights on the safety car going out halfway down Hangar Straight was unexpected. The main contributing factor was Max reacted late and went past, this also started a chain reaction of concertina braking patterns. In the end the penalty was on the outcome rather than the action and it was largely for the benefit of the $port and $pectators at the track. I spent thousands of $ to be there and the atmosphere was amazing.Eh, the penalty point standings would suggest otherwise for Piastri. Oscar's currently ranked 4th, all for collisions or erratic driving.
Yep, the Ver$tappen fan$ will probably be appealing to the $port for $ure.Whatever car he's running in, I'm sure the organizers will make sure it's competitive with BoP. Kind of like how Ferrari has gotten favorable BOP at LM for 3 years straight, because they're Ferrari
Ford is joining the WEC in 2027, and considering Red Bull's partnership with Ford, I think this is the ideal situation for Verstappen to finally go racing at LM.
Alonso's F1 contract ends in 2026, so they could be teammates, something they've talked about before. Make Alex Palou the third driver and you have an unbeatable lineup
Also, I don't see Verstappen racing full time in a series after his F1 career. He'll just do the fun, big races
RIP Hadjar‘s career

Yuki Tsunoda set to be fired from Red Bull in 2026, Isack Hadjar to replace him: Reports

They may just send Yuki back to RB, as none of the F2 Red Bull juniors (Goethe, Marti, Lindblad) really look ready to step up. Maybe they go outside their own setup and give someone like Alex Dunne the drive (as he isn't getting into a McLaren seat anytime soon).
Actually, because of the new regulations next year he has a better chance to do wellRIP Hadjar‘s career

It might be that a clean-sheet Pierre Wache design, rather than a design direction no doubt still influenced by Adrian Newey - as 2025's car probably is, may not be tuned as much towards how Verstappen likes his cars. Redbull have definately crippled themselves as far as having a 2nd driver who can take points from rivals with how they've evolved their most recent designs. Its a sound direction if you are just chasing the WDC, but if you want the money that comes with the teams championship finishing order, you you need both drivers scoring decent points.Actually, because of the new regulations next year he has a better chance to do well
Everyone will be learning the new car. Verstappen mastered the current RedBull design, but it'll be something completely different next year that him and Hadjar will both have to learn
