It looks like Tyrod Taylor has been injured yet so he should be able to start today.🤣 That dude seems to be cursed or something since he gets hurt in weird ways. It seems like he could be sitting on the bench and someone will run out of bounds and they run into him and injured his knee 🤣

Stress free Monday morning not having to get up early for the Panthers game. Irony is though, that due to the time differences. I won't be able to watch live tomorrow as it's in the middle of the day for me. Probably for the best anyway, with all the injuries to the Panthers O-line and LB's. 😅

It may have well been Daboll coaching with not kicking the easy FG, it of course allowed the Lions to come back to tie. I get it that if you go for it on 4th it would put the game away. However, the fallout and odds are too heavy in the other direction. Why not take the points? Kafka making the same dumb choice as Daboll and yet again we allow mega points. Bowen should be fired TODAY, its absurd at this point. It was a fun game to watch...until the 4th qtr....again.

@Joey D GG so far (as we go into OT) buddy, I am glad it wasn't a blowout like I was expecting

EDIT: FML, Sexy Dexy goes out for ONE play and Gibbs just shreds us up the middle....again. GG tho bro 👍

Not sure which is worse: Giants manage to AGAIN choke away a 4th quarter lead or the Colts let an 11 point lead in the 4th disappear and allow a GW FG in OT to Kansas City.

I wasn't worried!

Seriously though, the Lions love making terrible to mid QBs look like all pros. If Dart and Skattebo were playing though I'm guessing the Lions lose that game. We'd have zero answer for them and get walked all over while Skattebo CTE'd his way to 5 TDs.

The same? I had both games on side by side, yelling at my monitor on one side, then laughing at the other.

Philadelphia then chose to one up the Giants and blow a 21 point lead to Dallas. Then lose to Dallas on a last second field goal. Somehow the dumbest move of the day, ex-Jet PR Xavier Gipson trying to run back a punt from his own 2 and fumbled over to Dallas, did not lead to a score by the Cowboys.

The NFC South could be about to get very spicy if Baker Mayfield is out for any serious amount of time. Hell, even the Falcons are only two games back now? 🍿

GOOD. Too little too late as they already fired the wrong coach imo. With a new DC, there's no guarantee of us stopping the 4th qtr collapse this season, but at this point, who cares  This should lock us into the #2 pick for the draft where I think we should trade it away for some players to improve our O Line a bit and trade away not-so-dangeruss for more picks/players.

The Lions do love getting coaches fired.

The Raiders fired McDaniels, along with their GM and OC, after losing to the Lions in 23, and the Bears canned Eberflus in '24 after losing on Thanksgiving.

I hope Mr. Mara's prognosis didn't take a turn for the worst. It's like he finally cracked and started firing everyone.

Indeed. Or he has big plans for that #2 pick in April  I do wonder though, how much of a leash Schoen will have in the draft this year. I'm hoping a very short one.

They need to load up on picks because I have a feeling they'll mortgage the next decade doing whatever they can to get Jerermiah Smith when he comes out.

hmm, can you imagine if we had Nabers and Smith  I shouldn't think of such things. Hope, and I never seem to get along, haha.

Smith has one more year of eligibility. I was hoping the Giants would win so the Jets could move ahead of them. They would still be behind the Saints until they play each other in the who is getting worst QB play bowl. For the bragging rights to the No.2 pick because I don't see Tennessee winning again. They may surprise me and beat some one.

Wouldn't matter. The Jets could pick anyone and it would be the wrong pick.

Now there's a real true Jets fan.

@JoeyD the Lions Honablublu helmets are so tough, man. That black kit they beat the giants in is the best 3rd unit in the league.

Carolina has to be one of the most baffling teams in the league this year. They slice apart Atlanta's top ranked pass defense last week and then crap the bed against a not great SF outfit.

I'm genuinely starting to think the Panthers have made a conscious decision to cause as much chaos as possible this season instead of making a serious effort and it's somehow actually starting to work in their favor. Just think of the mess it'll make if they beat the Rams, Bucs and Seahawks but lose again to the Saints. They'd completely screw up the NFC South, push New Orleans out of Tank Bowl contention and maybe even take the West in the process depending on how things shake out.

Sure, that relies on a lot of other factors, but this season has been absolute madness anyway so I'm not ruling it out.

Big effort from a depleted Panthers defence. And the offence stepped up too. Didn't think they could go with the Rams in a shootout but they pulled it off.

Cardiac Cats continue to give me hope. 😅

That 32 pick is ours MUHAHAHAHA

...right?

Jerome
Tennessee is still eligible for it. And the Giants might be better off trading it if someone is desperate for a QB. Titans won't take one and neither will the Giants.

Sorry that was a typo
:dunce:

I meant to say #2 >_<

Vikings got shut out by the Seahawks and lost to Sam Darnold on top of it. I'm not saying he's the greatest QB ever, and I know they have JJ, but they should have looked at signing him for at least a year or two instead of letting him walk.

Its crazy to me how he and Danny Dimes are flourishing elsewhere. I'd normally think that any QB would do well in Indy, except they haven't in recent years. And any team that doesn't have JJ is a downgrade  yet, Darnold is doing very well. NFL is equal parts crazy and random; it's hard to pinpoint a lot of determining factors sometimes. "This guys career is over!" --> "He may be the MVP!" I'm over here like, I'm sorry, whaaa?

Why does everyone keep letting Denver get away with all this nonsense they're doing? Are they just making their opponents use the crappy MadCatz controller that has a frayed wire and stops working correctly after the third quarter?

The last part of this season is going to get real ugly. Hopefully we do finish under 500 and his fans can't keep using the BS "never had a losing season" excuse to justify this ongoing mediocrity. It's way past time to clear house.
The Standard™ must be maintained. You'll take your 9-8 season be mildly frustrated with it, but not all that much because the Ravens' inevitable faceplant means you'll get the AFC North anyway.
