Unfortunately Jeremiah Smith has one more year. I have seen mock drafts have the Giants taking Arvell Reese at No.1. That would be a waste. They would have 4 DEs. Burns, Carter, Thibs and Reese. Scheon might do that though🤣. I know they will trade out if that spot because they need another guard and wr. My Jets are looking bad between them and the Colts I don't who has a worst QB situation. ESPN recently reported that Riley Leonard is injured. Anthony Richardson is already on IR with a broken orbital bone and Jones is done.
I will say this at least Brady Cook hasn't been injured yet. Hopefully he doesn't absorb Tyrod Taylor injury proclivity 🤣
If the Jets don't have a QB they might get ahead of the Giants. The Giants will likely win one more game (by complete accident). Commanders, Vikings, Raiders, Cowboys compared to Jaguars, Patriots, Saints, Bills. Giants can definitely win 1 more game. Possibly 2. Jets probably at best can win 1 more game.

If Tyrod Taylor comes back maybe they can win one more if not I don't think the can beat the Saints unless they lick into that one

The Colts are going to work out Phillip Rivers to see if he can still play QB. He hasn't played football since 2020. That clearly screams desperation move.

I hear Peyton Manning is still alive.

(RECORD SCRATCH)

"Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got into this situation..."

Whats the over/under that he'll walk out onto the field with a cane?

Fairly confident that Mike Evans is not human. Doesn't look like he's missed a step, despite having missed most of the season. And of course he has to come back a week before playing Carolina...

Edit: Thank you Atlanta!

Packers/Broncos is going to be quite interesting. Either The Broncos continue this garbage time fraudulence they've been getting away with all season and ruin it for the Packers, or Green Bay gets it together and finally sends them on the path to hell. I'm fine with it either way. (now watch it end as a tie so that nobody gets what they deserve)

Meanwhile, I'm not sure what the Panthers are going to do because the Aint's are already pretty much out of Tank Bowl contention, so dropping this match won't cause any more potential chaos. Except maybe giving New Orleans a chance to finish ahead of Altanta in the final season standings, which would be pretty funny on its own.

#1 pick baby, let's tank this all the way fellas!

I'm curious to see how we play off the bye, specifically the defense. Burns has had a great season, but I think its from the rest of the D Line. We are talented-ish. Anyway I'll be looking to see if we play 'casual' on D, just for mental notes to compare against next year and the coach's influence.

This can only end in disaster, right? Especially against that Seattle defense. 💀

I swear it'll be hilarious if Rivers somehow finally gets a Super Bowl ring out of this.
That team is stacked tho, so I'm going to say its not impossible. But I reserve the right to change my mind after seeing him play!

Panthers up majority of the game but the offence couldn't get much going in the 2nd half and the defence couldn't get the Saints off the field.

It was nice to dream that the Panthers might be able to somehow win the division. Seems very unlikely now. They need to sweep the Bucs in order to do it. And Baker is going have a field day against the soft coverage.

The football gods have been demanding some very hefty sacrifices the last couple of weeks. It's really starting to look like this year's Super Bowl is going to be decided entirely by which team has lost the fewest key players to injuries.

How was this a touchdown? The NFL isn't even trying to hide game fixing anymore and while I notice it with Detroit, it's only because I watch every game. I'm sure other teams are getting boned week after week too.

Maybe he didn't quite have full possession until he got up from his knee? I didn't watch that game, but from here it looks....not even close?

The Chiefs were eliminated so they had to go back to ol' reliable for game rigging. But yeah, the Ravens have had some extremely questionable calls as well that lost us games. If they got out of their own way afterwards that is, to be a little fair.

Was never a touchdown. Although it saved you some time as we'd have got the TD in the next 4 plays from the 1 yard line...

Massively entertaining game though.

So apparently Brandon Aiyuk's $120 million contract has been voided because he's been away from the 49'ers for over a month. Nobody seems to really know what's going on here, or at least they're not saying if they do, but I really hope it's not a case of him getting his bell rung one too many times and having it catch up to him.

I am surprised by this and not surprised if that makes sense. There has been some issues since last season when they were trying to trade. I do wonder what he did to get his contract voided though

It sounds like he's just been not showing up and not contacted anyone, they've put him on the "left squad" roster which I've very rarely heard of. Something's not really adding up here, you don't just walk away from a contract that big without a word.

It seems like they were ready to get rid of him but Shana an wanted him even though they knew who he was. So they signed him to an extension. Now Shanahan doesn't want him because they don't need him. I guess that's the bottom line for any team as long as you are useful and needed teams will put up with a lot of stuff but once that changes they will get rid of you as soon possible

That's probably it, it just seemed to stand out to me considering how many public crashouts we've had from players this year. Plus the 49ers aren't having a bad season at all, so you'd think Aiyuk would just at least finish out the season and get paid to be cut from the roster.

So long as we don't hear in the next few days that he's been found dead in a hotel room or something, then whatevs I suppose.

Reminds me of OBJ back in the day. He gets his big payday and then Gettlemen is like, 'See ya!'
