Good. Don't ask a legend if you can wear his retired number, choose your own number. I also don't think Cam Ward should be wearing Warren Moon's retired number 1 jersey.
Is it still the Oilers #1 or did the team update their retired jerseys to the Titans standard, because things get fuzzy with moves like they had.

Sanders ended up with the Browns. This will hurt even more now if he does turn out to be good. Steelers took a dev QB (a National Champion one) instead and it's pretty clear now they've caved to Rodgers' demands. I'm not looking forward to the Aaron Experience but at least it'll only be for a year or two.

The Brown's took another QB before Sanders. Its all a bit weird.

I don't follow college football at all but the Rams seemed to do OK although I'm a bit surprised we didn't draft a cornerback. I'm hopeful that means Jalen Ramsey is coming back...

The "experts" seem to think the Lions draft was bad, I'm seeing grades anywhere from C- to F, which befuddles me. At worst, the Lions draft was a C, but I think it's more of a B. The same thing has happened for the past couple of years too, the experts say the Lions drafted poorly and then like 90% of our picks end up being contributors.

I really like the Tate Ratledge pick-up. Not only is he good but the dude is 100% pure country boy with his mullet, porn stache, love of bourbon, and turkey hunting. Issac TeSlaa was kind of meh, but I like him, he's from Michigan and showed up to his draft interview with the Lions where his Lions jersey he'd owned since 8th grade. If nothing else, he's going to have a lot of heart. Ahmed Hassanein has the best story and is a huge culture fit. He didn't come to America until 2018 from Egypt, didn't really know anything about football, and didn't speak English. His half brother pretty much taught him everything and now the dude is in the NFL. I really hope he works out because I think he's going to be a fan favorite.

If you see the footage of the Browns draft room when the Sanders pick was made, it gets even weirder. Not many of the staff looked thrilled about the selection. Seems like it might have been a decision from the owner more than anything.

And speaking of the Browns. I'm sure this will end well...

I was pleasantly surprised with the Jets draft. NGL I did want them to get Tyler Warren but I understand what they were doing Glenn is trying to recreate the Lions offensive line.I like the TE they got and I think they had a decent draft. I don't like they didn't get a DT but what can you o?

Slightly odd timing, trading for draft picks 2 weeks after the draft. With this and some incoming comp picks the Steelers are really loading up for the QB draft bonanza next year. As for Pickens, we were never going to re-sign him and he's a nutjob even by WR standards, probably a perfect fit for Dallas.

Well, Warren Moon gave Cam Ward his blessing proactively. Cam didn't have to reach out. And, remember, Mr. Moon was in the CFL and around the league, not just in Houston. And while the Houston Oilers and Tennessee Titans are the same franchise, it's a little different being a whole different brand in a whole different city. Warren Moon was Houston's pride, not Nashville's.

Abdul is a damn fool for even thinking he could ask LT for #56. What a laugh.

Ever since making an unproven numbers guy GM in Sashi Brown (I know how everybody hates this decision) and then after Dorsey the super smart Andrew Berry I thought the Browns were finally on track to become a competent organization. What I didn't expect was that they seem to put the numbers and number based analytics over everything else and don't acknowledge that their models can't account for some things because there is no data for them.

Of course I'm talking about giving the biggest guaranteed contract in history to a guy who is (at the time) almost certainly a serial sexual predator. And now they draft what is almost surely the biggest locker room cancer in the history of sports. It's laughable at this point. I now enjoy seeing them fail because of their smugness and ignorance.

Where does this information come from? From all I have heard he was good teammate. Was he entitled of course but I have never heard of him being a problem on or off the field.

I do think it is creative for him to pick 51, the 5 from 56 and the 1 from 11. But, its a disgrace...kids these days got no respect.

And while we are on the subject of LT, why o why did LaDanian Tomlinson suddenly get called 'LT' back in the day. WTF? Why not call him LD? I'm still upset about that. And don't get me wrong, LaDanian is a HOF, a legend, but there's no reason I can think of to not give him the nickname LD. Anyway, back to football :)

Rams/Jags at Wembley.
This is relevant to my interests. We've already booked hotel and train journeys. Now all we need is a couple of tickets...

This'll (hopefully) be my 2nd Rams game after the 2017 London game vs the Cardinals.

After going to all of the first few games it's been about a decade since my last one, it would be good to be back. Luckily I'm not too far out of town so it's just a train & tube to either Wembley or Tottenham.

Rams & Jags looks the best most entertaining matchup (especially if Travis Hunter is playing offence rather than CB). The other games look a bit iffy, who would want to watch the Jets or Browns? Ew.

It'll be my 4th game. 2017 Rams Cards then Titans Chargers in '18. Then a gap until the Jets Vikings last year. It's an expensive weekend for us with game tickets plus hotel and trains. As we went last year, we weren't planning on going this year, but it's the Rams so I have to...
