So good to see different winners.
Agreed. Earlier in the season it was looking like Ferrari would somehow sweep this competitive field only to finally be humbled. Even if BOP is a huge chunk of this equation, at least it's making some really interesting racing and some great unexpected winners.

Dude, what a race

Every manufacturer cycling in the top 5

Peugeot having a good result was a given, but like most things in this race, Alpine winning was unexpected

BMW overcame terrible starting positions in GT3 to place both cars in the top 4

Cadillac/Jota and United did not honor their starting positions

Estre was a monster like always

Even Toyota managed to fight here and there despite their disastrous BoP

Just sensational

What happened with the iron dames?! I watched the race, saw them going from p17 to p2 and then I kinda missed why there were back in p13? Did they take the drive through that was later cancelled?!

Was really good race. Shame for McLaren, and Aston in both classes, but great to see Alpine and Peugeot at the top.

I wasn’t able to watch live - I wish the YouTube team wouldn’t spoil it though with their highlight reels before they publish the full race highlights!

I'm not really sure. I don't think they took the drive through. Maybe they were just out of sequence for that last stop and got shuffled back down.

We are suppose to get a new ruleset in 2030

Hopefully they switch to a costcap and away from BOP

Confirmation that Porsche are leaving WEC as a factory team. Focusing on IMSA and Formula E.

Proton could continue as a customer team but I think they'd need to run an additional car.

I believe JDC has been in talks with entering a second car in IMSA and it might happen as soon as next season

Sad news but not surprising considering their current state. I‘d rather they left Formula E instead of WEC but oh well.

I'm wondering what that means for the porsche gt cars because they got the places because there were also hypercars...

I'm not sure, I thought for the manufacturers cup you needed to run 2 cars in the wec...

Toyota is testing upgraded car on Paul Ricard

I wonder what inspired Toyota to dramatically change the car like this? I mean granted Peugeot did too but it was mainly a rear end tweak to add a proper spoiler. But instead of doing slight aero tweaks or brake adjustments this looks like it could be called a Lexus LMH.

It probably won’t happen but I’d love to see them expand into IMSA.

Yeah that looks like a Lexus rear tail light strip.

Toyota 1-2 and Peugeot 3-4 in Hyperpole! Just gonna pinch myself, my two favourite teams locking out the front two rows... Shows what's possible when it's not "Another 20KG to Toyota Gazoo Racing." Now it just means I don't know who to root for but I'd love for Peugeot to get a first win, but Toyota have had such a miserable year.

I got a feeling this race is going to get flipped upside down. Somehow some way I got a strong feeling Porsche or Ferrari will dig their way to the top
