MUSC4EVER
All I ask for is one normal day as United fan.

What Martinez said is true and has merit, we were let down pretty badly by the hierarchy in the summer and we didn't invest enough in the squad, we badly needed a left back and maybe a striker and you could see that last night with a young centre-back playing at left back and a attacking midfielder/right winger playing up front.

However it was badly judged and the wrong place at the wrong time, these sort of things need to be kept in house and not out in public. Also it came after a defeat-we did pretty well last night actually-but still a defeat. and Martinez has been crap this season and looks like he wants to leave anyway, his contract is up in the summer and its been reported that he tried to move to Atletico Madrid last summer.

All this does is add more problems and headlines for the club which already has enough to deal with.

I bet Amazon are loving filming all this.

Yes, I always said I was happy with the players we did buy, but we needed a couple more. A backup striker, which the lack of is haunting us and a back up LB. As it happens, we also needed a backup CB because Martinez has a. been absiolute pants this season and b. will likely be sidelined now (and rightly so).

It's embarrassing. Honestly, at this point I'd be tempted to drop half the team and play kids. They make mistakes, but I'd expect them to put in an effort to impress. And it's not like the first team aren't making mistakes that are costing us goals anyway.

Cunha, Yoro and Mainoo are the only players who I personally think can hold their heads up so far this season.

Anyone 'member when Ronaldo said similar things in November 2022? I 'member.

I 'member that. Ronaldo went "bye". I think Martinez will soon go "bye".
