Toyota sec 1, Ferrari sec 2, Pug sec 3 purples. Too bad the finally found a bOp that works and its a secret.
Cars where more than a second slower than last year. It seems to work but the amount of ballast is probably insane.
Tyre wear and suspension reliability will be interesting to follow.

Well the Ferrari is legal now so that helps. ;)

I thought the Cadillac's wing was broken for the first part of qualifying until one of them actually started putting decent times down. It just looks funny with the super low wing and full height endplates.

Genesis 19 in the garage after 10 laps.

Scratch both Lexus/Lexi/Lexusus at the first stop, one in the box and one died on track.

That was a good race and an excellent win for Toyota. 50th win in their 100th race in the WEC. It should have been their 101st but their first race at Spa didn't happen as a testing crash of their only car meant they couldn't take part. They've only missed two events since the WEC restarted in 2012 and that was the first two races at Sebring and Spa.

Promising start to the season. With no Eurosport, opted to spend the 45 quid for the WEC pass.

Can someone with more knowledge explain why it's looking like Ferrari v Toyota only? I see something about LMDH not being able to keep up with the LMH..?

Toyota has the most experience, Ferrari runs 3 cars (50% more data than the other manufacturers).

LMDh vs LMH has a bop problem and bop is a "problem" itself :D
No matter how equal/balanced you make it somebody will always complain if they don't win/succeed. Last year Ferrari was dominant (and Porsche complained), the year before Porsche was dominant (and others complained)

Everybody builds their car for Le Mans. There will be different cars competitive on different tracks, except Ferrari who will always have the best BOP because they are Ferrari.

The battle between McLaren and Chevrolet was fire !
Very happy for Toyota. Peugeot and Cassidy flopped as hell.
Sad for Lexus but their next car might be a banger, at least for the eyes.
At first glance the Genesis seems reliable and well-designed.

Imola stays a very singular track, mostly when it comes to mechanical grip with all these chicanes and bananas. Spa will be a better place to jauge everyone for the rest of the season. Le Mans excepted because the BoP applied for the race is specific.
